Delicious food, great service. It was a bit loud but not too bad, I think everyone was having a good time. Short walk over from our hotel on the River Walk. I need the exercise anyway. ?

Your significant other will love it! Steak was on point. Amazing Boss Hog bourbon! The atmosphere was great until the loud party showed up. Definitely not that type of establishment. Will definitely be back.

Came here for our anniversary dinner expecting a great night, We asked for a bigger table because we planned to order lots of dishes. But, the hostess (pretty sure her name was Emily, she had glasses with black hair) stuck us at a smaller one instead. Later, we saw her giving a bigger table to another couple, which was a bit of a letdown. The food was actually on the salty side but our waitress was super attentive It's just a bummer that our first impression with the hostess wasn't the best. You'd think everyone would be on their A-game in such a nice spot.

A new addition in the recently renovated Fairmont Hotel, this little gem of an Italian restaurant shares its location with Silo, its steakhouse sister. We were seated immediately and service never stopped being very attentive. Decor is smart and clean, greys and whites with marble top tables and comfortable seating. Noise level was low until the restaurant filled and then it became difficult to hold a normal conversation but that seems to be the norm now. The menu is not large but is very inventive and includes some vegetarian options although vegans would be hard pressed to get a meal. The dishes we tried we very good to excellent. The caprese salad was remarkable, fried barata with flavorful tomatos and a smooth pesto. An unusual but incredible combination. Pasta dishes were very good and dessert was a perfect end. The wine list was extensive but there was not a lot of options by the glass. Overall, this is a perfect addition to San Antonio’s fine dining and we give it 4 clams on the coveted Five Quahog Rating Scale ( five stars in the Google scale).

It was perfect! The food and atmosphere are incredible beautiful! I like waitresses’ service and attitude, they asked for refill many times even if I didn’t finish my drink, for me it’s a little bit annoying because when I talk with person, it’s hard to concentrate on conversation if somebody is always around you.

Exceptional carbonara. The guanciale was deliciously crispy and really makesnthe dish. Service is friendly, attentive and efficient. Delicious tiramisu very traditionally made.

My partner and I were visiting San Antonio for the first time. We were on the fence about doing Italian since it’s SA (you should be eating TexMex and BBQ the whole time, right?) but we wanted something upscale for our date night. When we entered the lobby, there was an extremely loud group of men ahead of us. We ended up both waiting for our reservations on the rooftop together, to which my partner and I both determined we would be miserable if we were seated near them. When I discreetly mentioned this to Emily, the hostess, she was extremely gracious and went out of her way to make sure we had a table in a more secluded section of the restaurant. I really appreciated this and it genuinely made our experience. The food itself was INCREDIBLE. I've traveled around Italy and it is definitely authentic. We did the potatoes and octopus as an appetizer, rigatoni for the main course, and Mexican vanilla sorbet for dessert. I seriously cannot express how delicious and flavorful everything was. When we undoubtedly return to SA, we will definitely be back.
