Looking for some good Italian food on Google earlier today came across this place, needless to say it did not disappoint. Atmosphere was good. Servers were great. Food was amazing. Going to become my regular for sure!

I expected too much from this restaurant and everything was terrible, to begin with, the first time they ran out of lemonade, then there were no dishes on the menu, the experience was too bad

Very bad experience in service, my friends and I felt racism on the part of the staff... they did not have the dishes and halfway through the meal they told us that there were no more drinks...

The service and food were great, but my favorite was the atmosphere. I was also surprised at how inexpensive it was for what you get.

“Terrible Service “ we had high hopes for this restaurant based on the reviews and past experiences at this location. Our server was not attentive and had no regard to our needs. Our food was served cold and due to the closing time we were not offered any dessert or coffee afterwards. The worst part of the experience is finding hair inside the pasta with no regard from the staff. This was our 4th visit to this restaurant and we will never return after this experience.

After a lot of research we decided to spend our anniversary here. We were excited from other reviews. The ambiance was amazing! But after that it went downhill. Ordered the $50 Pasta E Tartufo made at the table… which we couldn’t see because the cart was taller than the table. The pasta was flavorless and overall not worth it. My short rib was okay but nothing to write home about. Waiter took quite a while to come by and we only ever got one water container with no water for either of us the rest of the dinner. The manager did come and ask us how everything was, but who is going to complain to a young pregnant lady and make a huge deal about the entire meal and service on their anniversary. $100 meal for a load of disappointment and bad service.

Came here for an anniversary sometime last year, I forgot to ever write a review! The service and atmosphere was great, though empty at the time we went in. I got the mushroom risotto and was IN LOVE with it. Dessert was wonderful as well, and while a little pricey I definitely think this has to be one of the better Italian places in San Antonio!

Waitstaff was amazing, very personal. The food was outstanding. Some of the best pasta I've had in years. Definitely my new favorite pasta place in San Antonio.

We came to Nonna tonight to celebrate. Everything was delicious, wine selection was great. The olive tapenade they bring out with fresh focaccia was phenomenal! Vincente gave us awesome service, he was there when we wanted and not there when we didn't. Somehow he just knew when to check in with us! Sometimes you eat at a new place and it was good but doesn't spark you to go back. We are already looking forward to coming back to try more dishes because everything we had was spot on today!

Nona Osteria, is a charming artisan northern Italian restaurant located on 1604, right beneath Silo Restaurant. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and a slightly hidden but inviting vibe. We started with the Burrata appetizer, featuring melted cheese over a flavorful red sauce, accompanied by bread and a unique chorizo-like spread with an olive taste.I opted for the black spaghetti with lobster, (sorry missed pic) but it was decent. My husband savored the braised short ribs, while my daughter found her pasta dish with chorizo or or more like salami to be satisfying.Their food menu is limited, but if you like wine, the restaurant offers an extensive selection of wines. Also to give you an idea on price my black spaghetti at $39 was the most expensive dish on the menu. Our server was attentive and helpful, enhancing our dining experience. Overall, Nona Osteria is a decent choice for Italian cuisine, with two locations – one on 1604 and another downtown.

We've been eating at both Nonna locations since they opened and we've never had a meal that was anything short of fantastic! Luca Della Casa runs an amazing kitchen and the food is simply wonderful. Eat here. You won't be disappointed.

was really hoping for lobster ravioli but they took off the menu so went with squid ink pasta with lobster...unfortunately the lobster was dry and very chewy...other dishes my guests got were good

Our server was amazing! The food was incredible-we had the caprese salad and shared 3 pastas amongst the 3 of us. It was a great way to try everything and was recommended by our waiter. He paced the meal perfectly, and was there exactly when we needed him. The lovely manager came by twice to check on us. Great ambiance, not too loud, food was really terrific. Can't wait to come back to San Antonio to experience again. Thanks to the team at Nonnas! Highly recommend!

We love Nonna Osteria 1604, and go there regularly. Michaela is a wonderful employee there who always greets us warmly and makes us feel very welcome. Last night, Vince served us and did an excellent job, as all of the servers do when we are there. The food is delicious (my fave is the butternut squash ravioli), and we always have an excellent time.
