Unfortunately, it’s always a miss for me. Even the idea is great, the cafe workers don’t know how to handle the food and make it appetizing. I am sad to see how the sandwiches look appealing while they are cold, you can see the cooks work and good ingredients, but after “warming” it up, overcooking it, dumping it in a box, spread grease all over, it’s just can go directly to the trash. All their croissants are always way overheated and become extremely dry and inedible. I regret to see how good food, team efforts to prepare the food are just wasted. Beverages in most cases are tasty.
My salad with steak was unique and flavorful. In addition the steak was cooked perfectly. My husband was very happy with his pizza and said it was one of the best he's had. We really enjoyed the atmospheres. It was calm and relaxing and made for a pleasant dining experience.
Bazille WAS. That's the key word....it WAS....an easy place to go have a great meal and a cocktail after work or shopping. Now it is staffed with the most indifferent, blank, expressionless individuals. Let me correct myself, they're not expressionless. They literally look like they are irritated by working to seat or serve you or anyone. The host didn't want to try to make eye contact with anyone who walked up to the stand. Literally had his back to where people would walk up. We were browsing the store, Nordstrom, before we tried to come by and both times, the staff was in their own world not acknowledging seated patrons or my party. We thought, let's make a reservation and that way they know someone is coming who may leave a review. Well that didn't change anything, we didn't get seated at all....we said “hello” “hi” “excuse us,” etc...never acknowledged. Forget it. They have hired a group that doesn't want to work and even when they know that you're there...waitstaff saw us standing there, they totally ignore you and think they are making their life better by not getting any money for the restaurant. Bazille...It looks and feels dead. There were flies, too. Not sure how as there was no food out. The patrons seated looked upset by having to be treated so badly. No one was talking or enjoying themselves. We went to whiskey cake and were treated royally. Happily walked in the heat to the opposite side of the mall to have a great time. Goodbye Bazille!
I had a disappointing lunch experience recently. The fries were hard and lacked the expected crispiness. The host at the entrance seemed unfriendly, setting a negative tone. Unfortunately, the server didn't pay much attention to my requests, making the overall dining experience quite frustrating.
Atrocious food. I ordered Crab and mango salad and was served arugula that went bad last week. Our server looked unkempt and odd to say the least but he was courteous. NEVER again. Shameful restaurant they should close it.
Our food was delicious and our service was exemplary at lunch yesterday. All staff were courteous and helpful, and our server was particularly friendly, efficient, and professional. Our luncheon salads were delicious, as was the monkey bread!
Great Father's Day brunch! Monkey bread was great. Love the vegetable frittata. Maybe the best I have ever had. Delicious. My husband enjoyed the biscuits and gravy. Service was exceptional. Highly recommend!
Wonderful for Mothers Day lunch. Very accommodating service - needed to modify my party number an hour ahead of time and they were happy to help, food was fast, delicious and prepared just as we ordered. Felt like we found a hidden gem! No crowds for Mother's Day, just good food, good value and relaxed atmosphere. I will be back!!
We were celebrating my 12 year old daughter's farewell sleepover with her two best friends. Bazille was the must-do for dinner. We were shopping and got caught in a hailstorm then rushed to our reservation to have the most pleasant waiter who was very attentive and kind. The three girls (and I) had a wonderful time enjoying each other's company and eating our delicious dinners. We were preparing to leave and our server said the kitchen was closing and asked if we'd like to take some of the soup home, which we gladly did! So nice of him to offer. Thank you Bazille!
My favorite coffee shop. It’s definitely better than the other ones at la Cantera. I had a concern about my coffee and the manager responded super quickly which is amazing. Thank you for that. My only feedback is the salted caramel latte sometimes taste different depending on who makes it sometimes it’s the best and sometimes it simply takes like chocolate instead of it being balanced with the salt. Other than that it’s a good place.

Amazing coffee
The house special was the Golden Spice Latte and it was perfect for yesterday’s weather.
This is the art I got! Anyway, the review will be about the taste! I ordered non-dairy milk coffee latte. I had three sips and was not able to take more! I will never recommend it.
this isn’t a fancy third-wave coffee shop, but the coffee tastes less burnt than starbucks if you’re not loading it with sugar. the staff is nice and quick.
Best coffee at La Cantera (I got iced oat latte)
