We were totally surprised when we got our two plates brought out to us sooner than we expected and it tasted great!
The service was very polite and helpful and the atmosphere was very quaint and relaxing.
I looked forward to the next time coming back.

It's a hidden 💎.
This is a very cute and cozy place. Romantic for couples, but I decided to take my best friend for her birthday. I loved the sun room with the vines wrapped all around. So green and serene in there. Real flowers on the table + lit candle was a nice touch.
The food was fantastic. Fried brie was delicious and crunchy, with a nice sweet chili type sauce. We didn’t leave any leftovers of that lol. I had the chicken fried steak. It was a 10/10 imo. The steak was cooked perfectly under the breading. The outside was a crisp and flavorful; someone took time to season well. The outside doesn’t all fall off when you cut in to it, which is a common chicken fried steak blunder. Every single thing on the plate was executed to a high level. Mashed potatoes, gravy, even the veggies. A lot of places like to slap flavorless undercooked veggies on the plate and call it a day. Not this place! I was really pleased with all the food and drinks. Oh yeah, don’t let me forget: THE STICKY TOFFEE PUDDING!! First time I’ve tried it, and it’s one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. I am not glazing, it was really good.
I will be returning, no doubt.

I found the Oak Valley Vineyards Restaurant while searching for a restaurant in between New Braunfels and San Antonio to meet friends for dinner. Our party of 4 had a delicious dinner on white table-clothes in the small dining room overlooking the grounds. I had the smoked ribeye with creamy mashed potatoes and julienned vegetables with the sticky coffee cake along with a a bottle of Fall Creek Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. I would definitely recommend the restaurant for the food, service and ambiance!

It's a shame it's not its own winery yet. Food was great, but the chicken fried strip doesn't hold together. My wife had to send back her shrimp and grits because it was like soup. Two minutes later a replacement came. Made us believe instant grits were used

I want to give more stars but I can’t. The food just wasn’t great. Atmosphere is very pleasant and the grounds are quaint but the food was less than mediocre. We are from out of town so perhaps it’s just a coastal difference.

Absolutely great experience. The food was excellent. The place is beautiful with nice ambience. Our server was very friendly and gave us tourist tips for visiting the area - especially Johnson City. The owner came out and greeted us. Very nice woman. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Brought my bf here for his birthday and the fillet was delish! I had the ribeye, a little Smokey for me but still very well cooked. The sides were awesome BUT THE MOST IMPORTANT THING is the BREAD PUDDIN…. It’s life changing. We are coming back just for that
