I've been to Japan twice, this place has the most authentic Nigiri and Miso soup. I can't speak for their specialty rolls, but if you come hungry for a traditional Japanese meal, this is it. We spent about 110 before tip and sampled our way through the menu. Albacore Tuna, Salmon, Smoked salmon, shrimp (three orders of this one, it was sooooo good), tamago, mackerel, snapper, two soups, and edamame. So I definitely think the price is reasonable.

Mediocre rolls . Change the music so it match the vibe. The rolls that we got were Kai roll (6/10) missing more texture and flavor & baked lobster roll (6.5/10) missing crunchy texture

Customer service amazing

So nice inside but the music was so …. Not it . But I would give this place another chance

$56 for 2 rolls & 2 drinks

If you can eat with the company of cockroaches I guess the food's not too bad.

I ate here and got terribly sick. I ended up with salmonella poisoning. I was in the hospital and they couldn't figure out what it was.

I hadn't made the connection yet ....

Then My daughter ate here months later and got super sick. Throwing up and stomach issues.

I won't be returning here for sure.

Awful smell and waited nearly 10 minutes to be sat down when the place was completely empty and i was the ONLY customer. I left after not even being acknowledged the entire time i was there so i cannot tell you how the food tastes, but i can tell you the smell of the place is foul and dirty.

I come here to get the miso soup when I'm feeling down. I dnt knw why or how but I always feel better afterwards. The food is amazing. It's affordable and fresh . I usually get the same thing which is in the pics. The place was clean, quiet, the server was very attentive, he made sure I got everything I needed. Will come back. Oh the prices were affordable. The quantity of food was enough so I was able to take it to go.

We had been here before several years ago and we had enjoyed it immensely. The atmosphere was lively, the chef kept up a funny banter and did tricks while cooking and the food was delicious. A few days ago, my daughter's fiance had come into town, and while trying to think of someplace to go out to eat, I remembered this restaurant. I assured my daughter that it was great and everyone would have a good time. I was wrong. This time, there were few customers in the restaurant, the chef didn't talk while he was cooking unless I asked him questions. The food, while cooked well, was bland and definitely needed the ginger sauce that was on the table. We won't be going back.

Horrible experience the service was so slow and the hibachi chef look miserable the entire time cooking. We tried to make conversation and we got short two word responses.Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Very disappointing with the service when the prices are very expensive.

Went there for prom dinner before going to the dance. The service was great even though it was super busy. My issue with the food was timing and what was on the plate. The bulgolgi BBQ needed more lettuce for wraps or something because it was just a huge plate of meat, lots of onions, and a little bit of carrots... with one lettuce leaf. Took a while for the giant bowl of soup to come out and even longer (like almost done eating for everyone else) for the salmon. Then the salmon was a little overcooked. Again, nothing much on the plate with the salmon. It might be that they weren't properly staffed or prepped. I don't know... Just for the price we expected more. Ending this on a high note, the garlic butter edamame and gyoza were top notch delicious and fast.
