I called this morning to inquire about mariachis and was told they were available after 5pm monday through Friday and that you get birthday flan and a song upon request. I wanted to make a big deal for my dad's birthday and that seemed perfect soI made a reservation for my family at 5. Our server was very nice and the restaurant was beautiful. We received chips and bean dip as well as colorful salsas. Different! We ordered choriqueso as an appetizer which was flavorful but...
I'm new to San Antonio and I wanted to have a day where I can walk around shop and have a good meal and this place past the test. The staff was great. Even got a chance to meet the pr manager, and sparked up a conversation with two locals. Just an absolutely fabulous experience. Even got to stay and listen to the house band. That was very nice.
My wife and I visited Palenque Grill and we had the best experience ever! General Manager Xóchitl and Catering Manager Johnny were absolutely the most welcoming folks. They made us feel right at home like family, the food was excellent, and the restaurant is a gem in San Antonio. My wife and I visit many restaurants all over San Antonio, and this by far is one with 5 star service, great food, gorgeous location, and an amazing atmosphere. We’ll be back soon.
