Expect to pay $5 a taco for barbacoa with no flavor, salsa's have no flavor or spice and tortillas are fake store bought. $5 a taco I'd expect flavor and homemade tortillas. People were nice though.

I don't know what has happened to this place, everything from the food to service has changed. The barbacoa is not flavorful and not fresh, the red spicy sauce was my favorite is now tomato sauce, tortillas are old and hard. What happened to you all?

The pico and the avocado were perfect. Everything else was seriously lacking in flavor. We ordered all meat but there was some pieces of weird stuff that made it into our pint. Tortillas looked bad at first but tasted okay once heated. Beans were labeled as Charo beans but just tasted like regular unsalted Pinto Beans. Salsa was boring. We chose this place based on google reviews but were sadly disappointed. My mom went in to pick up for me and said everyone was nice at the counter.

1lb of barbacoa, 1 small menudo. 3 salsa's, 2 dozen flour tortillas, and the complimentary beans. That was my order. First and foremost, the guy at the counter was extremely helpful. It was my first time here, and he helped guide my order. Very friendly. Even though i ordered everything 1 by 1, he set it up as one of their bundles, which saved me a bit of money. ^_^Now to the food. Barbacoa was extremely good. I didnt have to add salt. I of course tasted it with the salsas, and they were definitely optional adds, not needed to make the barbacoa taste great. For those of you that need to know which is the spicy salsa, it was the green one. my sister would enjoy the red one as it a very nice flavor. The menudo was slightly different than what i am used to having at home, but it definitely has a very thick, and tasty flavor. Oh yes, i forgot, i bought chicharrones as well. very crunchy, not stale, or greasy. The complimentary beans were sooo good. I will definitely have to order an actual portion size to have leftovers. The flour tortillas were very soft, and malleable. they did not break as you take them out of their package, or stick. i warmed mine up, and they remained soft. make sure you warm them on a low setting, or you'll definitely burn them, like i did. lolAll in all, i was extremely happy i found a barbacoa place within 15mins of where i live now. Very good food.Go give them a try!

I picked up the tamales I ordered for Christmas Eve, as well as barbacoa. This was my first time trying the tamales. They were excellent and worth the $15 a dozen. The barbacoa was also good.

The barbacoa was good. The menudo was too salty will no longer buy menudo there .What upset me was that the young lady said that the barbacoa contained cheek meat .The barbacoa was actually very good.I will be buying barbacoa from there but nothing else .

This is our Sunday go-to place for Barbacoa and Menudo, with corn tortillas. The food has always been good and consistent. Love the family business and tradition.

The tamales are so dry and gross. Like I’m sorry I’m so picky and these were just gross. Like they are so small and have hardly any meat and at 15 bucks a dozen I expected a lot more. The barbacoa is not bad Like I have had way better though. This place serves you so much grease even in the all meat. Barbacoa is tasty I just don’t like the amount of grease but that is just me. If you can eat the grease like that then definitely worth the money. They have a endless supply of warm big red 2 liters and usually a few chilled in cooler. The chicharrones are homemade and taste good. The ladies in the front were nice and welcoming.Try it, might be your favorite place ever and if you love a super dry reheated multiple times tamale then this is your place.Enjoy!
