My family and I wanted to get Vietnamese food, but we decided to try a different spot instead of our usual Pho Kim Long. The restaurant itself is very “hole in the wall”. There was giant fan instead of AC, and the menus were a bit… “well-read”. The lids of the condiments were also rather crusty. However, if I know anything, it’s that many unsuspecting or even dubious places have immaculate food. Pho Thien A wasn’t exactly immaculate, but it was definitely tasty....

I order brisket pho to go and it was definitely the best one I had yet in San Antonio!! I must say you will need the siracha and hot oil to make it a 10/10 like mines. I did add my own hot chili oil that I purchased from DingHow ♥️ IT WAS GREAT!!

The grilled pork and fried spring rolls are excellent. The spring rolls are perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside—just how they should be. The staffs are friendly, helpful and very welcoming, which makes us want to come back again.
