I usually have a great food experience here but I went last night with my family and the meat was so greasy and salty. The brisket lacked the usual Smokey flavor and the chopped meat was so salty and greasy. Needless to say, half of my family woke up today with upset stomachs. I’m disappointed.
Every time we visit San Antonio, Pinkerton’s is at the top of our list—and for good reason. The food is absolutely outstanding. The smoked meats are done to perfection, full of rich, deep flavor that speaks to the care and time put into the process. The sides, especially the ones infused with jalapeño, were a standout—adding just the right amount of kick to make each bite memorable.
