The Pollo Asado is delicious!!! The corn tortillas that come with it are some of the best I've tasted here in the U.S. They taste like the ones in Mexico.

We were staying down the street and based on previous reviews we decided this was a great place to have dinner. We ordered the full chicken dinner. Fed both of us and the food was brought out very quickly. The chicken was cooked perfectly and made some delicious tacos. The entire staff was friendly and we were checked on by our waiter and even the manager/owner to ensure we were all set throughout our visit.

Amazing food, service, and atmosphere! Definitely 10 out of 10. This is so far the best pollo asada I have ever had the pleasure to devour. I have been here various times and every single one of them has always been exceptional . I know I mentioned the pollo, but the rest of their menu is also excellent. I have been here with various people and every single one has returned for this amazing food. Did I mention that they also make an amazing margarita. It is a must try in San Antonio that will definitely not disappoint.

I go every weekend order the same thing. Chicken and a half with extra rice and beans. And the Salchiburger with no vegetables or Chipotle sauce. It cost $50.54 today they raised the prices and left out my beans. I called they say it's my fault they didn't ask me. I feel so disrespected. They said I can have double beans next time. I don't think there will be a next time. So sad. I am going to miss this place.
Chicken slaps!!
My chicken was hot but bland. The green sauce wasn’t spicy just tarty and sour. The beans were Okay. The rice was super hard and ruined my lunch. Nothing was spicy at all including the jalapeño. I was looking forward to some spiciness but didn’t get any at all. I think it’s a bit overpriced at this location for the blandness in the food and undercooked rice. There better and cheaper pollos asados in San Antonio. Heard a lot about this location but it let me down especially the rice because I like eating rice with my Pollos. I will not be back because the seem to be in a rush to get food out, but just make sure the rice is at least cooked all the way thru.

Party of 8 on a Sunday afternoon. Overall decent food, but I was not overwhelmed with the chicken. I was told by a friend it is famous for the chicken and it is the best around...I'm not convinced. Our chicken was dry. The sides are ok (the rice is the best side IMO). The tortillas are flavorless, paper thin, and couldn't even hold one small slice of chicken or a spoonful of rice without falling apart in my hand. It was near impossible for our table to talk with each other as it was so loud. On the positive side, the price was quite reasonable and service was quick. Our server told us they serve over 500 chickens a day. The fajitas were rated as good.

Love your family's pollo cookout but nobody got time to cook? This is the place to go! They greet you as soon as you walk in... walk you through the menu, and spot check throughout your meal. The atmosphere is giving Tio's backyard, they have the game on and good music. The pollo, salsa, rice, beans, y la cerveza esta con madreeee. You won't be disappointed!
