Po Po Trattoria Pizzeria

Since I moved to San Antonio 2 years ago, I have been looking for some great pizza like back in the Midwest. To me, a great pizza is the crust, thin, crispy, good sauce but not too much where you can taste all the ingredients. My first time here and I received exactly what I been looking for. I don't care for res sauce and they have a chicken Alfredo pizza on their menu that comes with chicken, bacon and mushroom. First time having a chicken Alfredo pizza with mushroom but it was divine. And their complimentary bread basket that is soft, warm, with garlic butter and parmesan cheese was too good. They could make a sandwich using that bread. I heard they have 3 location I just so happened to be in that area. And I will definitely be back. The customer service was also A-1. The chef came out the kitchen himself and took my order.

Ordered from the lunch menu and everything was hot and fresh! Pizza roll was perfect amount of crispy and the bread was very fluffy. Baked ziti was perfect and came out very hot. I will be back again

Good pizza, cheese on the cesar salad was old, very hard. Guy at the front door was very loud as I walked in. They automatically add a tip, no matter what. did not tell me. was not able to add a better tip, I thought that was odd. poor server stuck with a $2.00 tip, I wanted to tip more.

Dined in, we ordered 3 pizzas and a pesto pasta everything was fantastic, great new York style crust not as crispy but that could be due to ordering the large definitely on my list of recommendations for pizza in the area.

This is my favorite Italian place in San Antonio. This family-owned, true-to-tradition establishment has never disappointed. The pizza is great – I've tried many famous places, but I've never found a better one, so I keep coming back! The salads are fresh and crispy, and the pastas are authentically Italian. As someone who isn't a fan of heavy cheese sauces, I love the simplicity and true flavors of their pasta dishes with olive oil, garlic, and spices – they're definitely among my favorite meals anywhere. The service was great in the beginning, and has only gotten better over the years. Now, we feel like we're treated more as friends than customers.

Watch out for hidden fees here! After they told me no fees were applied to my take out order, I realized the math didn’t add up. I went in to ask about it, and they said there’s a 4% credit card fee. I can’t stand hidden fees, especially when the fee isn’t shown as a separate line item on the receipt.

The pizza is not good. I have had better pizzas within the same local area for less. It's the pie itself that does not taste good.

I ordered the Ravioli and a Ceasar Salad. It was all very filling and great tasting! Their marinara sauce was really good and flavorful. The bread served with the meal was excellent. I would visit this place again.

Quiet little Italian place, best NYC style pizza in Texas. The portions are exellent, great service. The owner and staff are friendly, the food has always been good. Coming from a person that grew up in an Italian pizzeria in NYC this place is the best in San Antonio.

I seldom leave reviews for average or normal or slightly subpar things. But I really enjoy leaving reviews for excellence and in this case you cannot go wrong by ordering anything off the menu here. This is my third time consuming the things that they make. And yes, they have been excellent every single time. Their service is wonderful. Their staff's attitudes and demeanor are wonderful.

In short, you will not be sorry you came.

Food was delicious, service was just so so. Rather expensive, a lot of up charges for items you would expect to be included. Doubt I would go back.
