We went for culinary week meal, it was fabulous. We added a cocktail, beer and bread and they also were fantastic! I would go there again. If there is one issue, you have to park on the street.

I’ve visited Claudine several times over the past two weeks, and I’m consistently impressed. The steak is hands down the best in town—cooked perfectly every time. The atmosphere is quiet and inviting, and the service truly stands out. The servers are genuinely kind and attentive, which feels rare these days. Special shout-out to Francisco for making each visit great. Highly recommend.

I’ve probably been 4 times now, but this last time will be the last. I don’t know what has changed but the food was bad. When you factor in the price, skip this place and head to the Pearl.

Well I’m so sorry to let you all know, that we are so disappointed on this place, we just went on my daughter’s 21 birthday Dec 2, and the place was empty. But the servers were friendly. The bad thing about it is that the little place was freezing!! And we couldn’t even take out jackets off, they took for ever to bring us our plates… and the server came and said they were going to crank up the heater, but that didn’t happened, now my husband my daughter and I are really sick.. I had to call out to work today because I feel miserable. It was a cold night.. but it was definitely colder inside the place than outside.. I’m mad at this.. I think I lost my health and a day of work because of that. I demand a refund!

Honestly review. For the price we paid, I wish it was better. The atmosphere was beautiful and parking was fine for us. We waited by the front door a long while because no one was there to greet us when we walked in. It was also a cold night so when we was seated I kept my jacket on because the host at the front kept opening and walking out the front door to look outside throughout the night. My ravioli plate was cold and my partner's stake was rare. He couldn't eat half of it. He asked for middle well done. Which he had to repeat twice. Our server was kind and attentive and gave us a complimentary champagne for our anniversary which was sweet. We got a drink as well which was so strong, we couldn't enjoy it or finish it. This place had a lot of potential and maybe we just went on a bad night but I dont think we will be returning.

We just photographed a wedding at Restaurant Claudine, and it instantly became one of our favorite intimate venues in San Antonio. This place is charm wrapped in elegance — every corner feels warm, stylish, and full of personality. The architecture, the textures, the light… it all comes together in a way that makes photographing here an absolute joy.
The staff was incredible to work with. They were attentive, welcoming, and completely invested in making the couple’s day feel effortless. From coordinating the timeline to keeping the atmosphere relaxed, they made our job (and the couple’s experience) smooth from start to finish.
And the food? Unreal. Easily some of the best we’ve ever had at a wedding — and that’s saying something after 200+ events! If you’re dreaming of a wedding that’s intimate, beautifully curated, and centered around an incredible guest experience, Restaurant Claudine is a standout choice. As photographers, we can’t recommend it enough.
Me and my boyfriend decided to check out this place on our anniversary. We went in with high hopes and left disappointed. We usually don’t leave bad reviews but this place was not it… Our server was not attentive and the food was very mediocre for the price.

Had high hopes for this restaurant. Walking in the atmosphere was great. However the service was slow. There was so few people inside I couldn’t understand why it was taking so long for us to even place drink or food orders. But maybe the limited number of patrons should have been our sign for what was to come. The food was so underwhelming I order the scallops with caviar, it was ok. Nothing to write home about my fiancé ordered the Steak Frites medium and it was AWFUL. The steak was chewy and they cut with the grain. I originally wanted the steak tartare and I unfortunately wasn’t able to try it because it was unavailable. Overall it was an awful experience and we definitely do not have to go back. If you want good food and good service, go somewhere else.

Came for a birthday celebration and the waiter was so kind and funny. They gave the birthday girl a gift which was so sweet! Hope to come back soon to taste more of the menu.
