Just left there after trying to track down my credit card! Bar tender on rooftop gave my credit card to a guy whose name is Tiff, bartender had him spell it out. My last name is very much NOT tiff. fortunately, I was able to find the gentleman through a friend of a friend. Bar manager asked me after losing my mind that they had given credit card to a complete stranger “Haven’t you ever made a mistake?” Are you kidding me? You hand my credit card out to anyone and consider it comparable to say dropping an egg or spilling milk? Go there at your risk. Incompetence and indifference may await you.
Their salsa is Great. Wish I could have brought it back home.

I went here for lunch to have my first Mexican food experience in the U.S. It was about 11.45 and no queues. Walked in and there were only 5 other tables in use. Within the next 30 minutes it was almost full. I started with the chips and salsa. Very nice. I had trouble deciding what to have as a main so checked out the specials section. Finally decided to have the Tocos Suaves with a mix of beef and chicken. It arrived very quickly. The beef taco was disappointing. The Chicken taco was much better. But overall I was hoping to be surprised by the food but just wasn't. The Mexican Chocolate tart was very good.
This place was recommended and it lived up to the hype. The mole was fantastic! We will be back when we come visit.

Amazing food, better than you will get on the river walk. Shrimp enchiladas are great with a Chipotle cream sauce.

The beef taco I could skip, the chicken pulled meat taco was awesome! The drinks are pricey but you are near the Riverwalk. Service and atmosphere was amazing!

Planned gathering at new location. Hostess said No Reservation. Waitlisted on own. Hostess said No Happy Hour on Rooftop. Arrived to find Yes Happy Hour. Got a drink menu from Bar, but No details. Seated ourselves & waited. No table service. Only two other tables on rooftop. Went to bar for Two rounds. Told water was self serv.

I used to live in San Antonio and never went to the original Rosario’s. Now I live in Florida and come visit once or twice a year. My friend and I went a couple of days ago and Eduardo was our server. Excellent, paid attention to us and very fun and professional. I had my puffy tacos and my friend had the lengua. They were delicious so we decided to go again today and Andrea was our server. I had the chicken enchiladas and my friend had the pork. Both were excellent and then we had the coconut flan and bread pudding for dessert. Everything was delicious and service impeccable again. Thank you all for making our visit to San Antonio special
We ate at Rosario's for our 1st time in 2003 when bringing our son to university and ate there often at the original location about a block south. Overall the years we began visiting other restaurants and Rosario's was no longer one of our choices even though the plates never disappointed. Today when visiting, my son suggested we go to the new location. It was really nice! Larger and much more chic, but the plates we still very good. At lunch we had beef fajitas with guacamole, rice and charro beans, puffy tacos (one beef and one gaucamole) and queso with chips. They still have the best salsa, almost black from the roasted Chipotle, and chips. We were not disappointed and will certainly return in the future.
Recently returned to eat here after 15 years. The food is amazing. The mole and fire roasted salsa are dishes I crave even after a decade.
The place has changed a lot over the years but the food has not.

October 25-Grabbed a chicken, avocado, and lime salad for lunch with a prickly pear mocktail at Rosario’s. Trendy aesthetic and great service and food. Look forward to returning and checking out the rooftop bar. Lunch menu included in the post.
