Two words: Griselda’s Tacos. I know, I know. It’s just a taco. But this is Texas!

Service is hit or miss, but the food is decent tex-mex. They could use some quality control, I think, because sometimes the portions are TINY and sometimes they're huge. The new location is very big and beautiful though. I enjoy the Bidibidi drink!

There is no better ceviche than Rosario’s! All the menu is spectacular. The drinks are well made and the service never disappoints. The space is great with a rooftop setting and beautiful downtown view. Don't miss this Gem if you are visiting.

My family loved the meals there and the atmosphere, we visited twice. The second visit did not have the same warm feeling from the first visit. From the host to the person who seated us to the waiter it felt like there was some bias there. The host sat in place and just pointed us to the seating area. The other host who prepared our table didn’t even make eye contact and the waiter was lukewarm but still pleasant. Very different from the first.

I love the new Rosario’s!
The restaurant is absolutely beautiful I love all the glass windows which make for a great view when dinning at night. The decor is spot on from the bar area inside, the indoor/outdoor seating and the rooftop bar.

The food? Absolutely delicious! 🤤 I didn’t get any photos because I started eating as soon as it hit the table. I had the nachos with beef fajita, and they were amazing. No soggy chips, and the beef fajita was tender and flavorful. The chips and salsa were also fresh and spice was mild. There are so many great food options—I’ll definitely be back to try more.

The drink menu is packed with great choices. I went with the classic margarita on the rocks, and let’s just say… one wasn’t enough! Blended to perfection and went down so smooth.

Our waiter was fantastic—super attentive, gave great menu recommendations, and made sure everything from our food to our drinks was perfect. I wish I could remember his name, but hopefully, we’ll get him again next time!

The rooftop bar was really chill. I enjoyed the DJ playing a nice variety of music. There were plenty of seating areas inside near the bar, and outside. The bar menu had a limited drink selection that night unfortunately due to some options not being available- which was understandable.

Overall, an amazing experience. I’d definitely recommend checking out the new Rosario’s. The old location was great, but what they’ve done with this new space is truly impressive.

Parking Tip: There’s a small lot behind the restaurant and plenty of street parking nearby. It was busy on a Friday night, but that’s to be expected!

27 years I’ve been eating at Rosario’s as they’ve moved their location twice and it’s still the best Tex Mex in San Antonio hands down. But a very popular place with limited parking. So go early and be prepared to wait. It is a noisy restaurant when it's full (which is most of the time) so be prepared for that.

Rosario’s delivered big time. Delicious Tex‑Mex —especially the tacos—and the service was impressively quick. I only had a few minutes during a busy rush, but the team still made it happen. While they don’t carry fresh juices, the bartender kindly made a custom watermelon mocktail with what he had on hand, and it turned out fantastic. Overall, a great experience—I’ll definitely be back.

Food was wonderful, I always enjoy coming here for the bean and cheese nachos. Our server was so friendly and hilarious! I wish I had gotten his name but he was wonderful. The churros were tasty. This restaurant is a little pricy just fyi and parking can be a nightmare. We noticed that the closing staff started cleaning around 30 minutes before the restaurant was closing so I felt rushed to get up and leave. Our server was sweet and told us to relax but we still decided to head out and leave him a big tip.
