SA Seafood on De Zavala is hands down one of our favorite spots in San Antonio! My wife absolutely loves their shrimp and crab boils — perfectly seasoned, packed with flavor, and always cooked just right. I liked going to this place years ago when I was in UTSA. Recently I noticed the portions sizes are smaller while prices are higher. Not a crazy big deal. Hated the shrimps I got in the seafood boil. It was very tough and chewy and each one was unclean. Was a pain and a regret tbh. Will always recommend the Cajun fried rice though. Nothing else is up to par.
Besides the food being extremely good and beyond expectations Israel made it even more delightful by going out of his way to satisfy everyone. I would love to see more people like him. Blessings!
