San Antonio Petroleum Club

Came here for a business meeting with one of the members. What stood out the most was their impeccable customer service. The clam chowder soup was my absolute favorite; seasoned well and rich with flavors. I enjoyed sampling their options, but the watermelon was a little aged when I tasted it, and I prefer it a little fresher just because my father had a watermelon farm growing up. Easy fix though. Staff was very accommodating to our party's needs; providing a more private table, and even offering us popcorn and cappuccinos during our meeting. Lovely establishment.

Joining this club has been one of the best moments in my life. I office on the fifth floor and eat lunch, hold meetings on the 7th floor. the people are wonderful and the food excellent.

Excellent meal! Beautifully-presented. Very good food; fresh salads, excellent variety.

There were some technical problems which seemed to be due to the guest host organization. Perhaps technical communication should be more thorough when a guest organization chooses to bring their own equipment?

It is a private club, but still one of the best venues for small to medium engagements. Buffet style food for lunch. Never disappoints. And of course the staff are the most customer-centric and helpful people around.

Yummy food. Very nice setup. Didn’t even know this place existed.

I tried calling this morning at the front desk to make a reservation for New Year's Eve and got NO ANSWER. Amazing how a club of a supposedly higher standard has such poor customer service. We are members as well.
Do you have reservation for 2 at 6 or 6:30 p.m. tonight?

Beautiful venue with lots of meeting rooms. The buffet was fantastic!! There are plenty of choices for all kinds of diets. Dessert was delectable!!!!

I just noticed that there was a review that said that the menu and atmosphere were “extremely dated”and that it was a “geriatric delight.” That may be their perception, but it is what keeps us coming back! We would much prefer it’s genteel ambiance, attentive staff and delicious food to the frantic atmosphere, bad food, and staff with attitude found in many of the recently opened restaurants!
