What a great time. You need a few days to really enjoy everything. We wait all year for this...

Great place

So went to the carnival last night with my family of five bought the kids and myself a band for rides my daughter and I were told by a few ride attendants that we were to big that the ride would not close that was horrible because I feel like they should tell you before you buy. So we did not have much fun.

The student center is awesome here for the livestock exhibitors, was hard to hear what was going on at lamb show while we were near the goat show, but that just kept us on our toes to be ready to go into the ring. The show went so fast I can’t remember much else ?

Enjoyed the rodeo with Jake Owen he was great. But their wasn't much to do on the grounds went down early about 1pm and besides the BMX and the vendors for shopping their wasn't Nothing to do or see. Carnival and bands didn't start till 4pm. I remember having more. And not many food vendors what happened?

Came on 2/16/2023 with school tour. Weather is terrible can't control that. Events are overbooked and understaffed. Terrible guidance throughout the facility. Not even seats so children were left standing in the cold . Really poor planning on the rodeo end. I wouldn't recommend taking a child during school tour it's not as special.

Everything is fun except for that carnival they have. They are running the biggest scam ever there. It’ll take you all but 5 minutes to figure it out if you are smart, maybe 30 minutes of you are slow. If anyone at rodeo wants to know more they can respond to this here and send me an email address where I can explain the scam. This is costing the association allot of money because allot of people like me are never going back. The company they contract the carnival to is very bad

This may not be the biggest show but it has Plenty of History and action of any livestock show anywhere.Judging of goats, cows, brahma bulls, are constant and live. Being able to walk through the stalls of animals and watch the competitions of barrel riding live was a great plus.Going through the Hall of Fame showed the history and pride of the professional Rodeo. Good food and drink. Very fair entry prices and plenty of reasonable parking. All made for a really great day.

We’ve tried to make it a yearly visit to the San Antonio Rodeo and it never disappoints. My girls and I always have a great time. From the petting zoo to the food vendors or just to listen to the music. The atmosphere alone is well worth it. This year we saw Randy Rogers he was just ok. I would like to see more Spanish music for concerts. Texans are always so friendly. We look forward to going back every year….

I brought my daughter here for the rodeo and then keith urban concert. Wr did the carnival afterwards. It was great! The shows, concert and carnival! The only thing that I didn't like was the long shuttle bus ride to get to the rodeo and back to your vehicle! Also the bathroom lines were extremely long! But overall we had a good time!
