Great Place for a hearty, or healthy, meal! Food fabulous. Root beer, and adult versions, really good. Anten our server was the best. Come back here every time I'm in San Antonio.
We had a corporate happy hour after a conference hosted at Schilo's and we could not have been happier with the results. We had the full space to ourselves. The staff was fantastic and I never thought the talk of the party would be fried green beans. Would 10000% recommend if you need to plan an event in San Antonio!
You are in for a treat here. This restaurant is the oldest in San Antonio and it has been here all these years for good reason. Amazing food, great servers, great prices.
I have been looking for good German food since my favorite place in Ft. Worth closed. FOUND IT... FINALLY. The schnitzel was crispy and juicy, the red cabbage was tender and oh so good. We tried almost all the sides on the menu between my family and we didn't find one that was lacking....
