Sea Island Shrimp House

Ordered fish tacos.
Took them more then 20 mins. I walked to kitchen counter asked for my food. Tortillas cold and when suggested to wrap them in foil for future reference this way tortilla isn't cold and chewy.. I was told they'll remake them. A 3rd guy comes and after more time wait brings the tacos same way in a plastic plate and tortillas are again cold .. ughh so by this time I've waited to eat 35 mins ... At this point guy wanted to argue I'm like nope let me eat this is 6:54 PM and came into eat breakfast fast after long hours at work . So every disappointing.
So if in case no one got it.
Wrap tacos in foil to keep them warm till I open it to eat... And this is Dine in. If I would have gotten them to go umm 🤔 any who

As usual, the food was delicious, a reasonable wait, and the restaurant is always clean.

We Go everytime, we go to San Antonio. Their fried and stuffed shrimp are the bomb!

I was in SA visiting a friend for his birthday. He suggested we lunch at the Sea Island Shrimp House and I am ever so glad he did. The service is wonderful and the food was excellent. I appreciate the menu with smaller portions, the 7 fried shrimp plate was perfect for me. The shrimp were not tough at all, fried just right. The coleslaw was tasty and creamy, not too dry. And I'm super picky about my fried okra and sweet tea, both were excellent. My friend had the fish and shrimp plate; I tried a bite of the fish and the outside coating was crisp but the fish was tender and moist, not at all dry or stringy. He really liked the green beans and we both enjoyed the hush puppies.
My only wish was I could have added the tip when we paid at the counter; thankfully I had cash to leave a tip for the excellent servuce

I haven't been to a sea island about 20 years, corpus had one back in early 2000's and I really miss it, so I took my family to a sea island just recent and it did not disappoint me at all the food was still great like it was in the past and the service was great also

Pleasant atmosphere, friendly personnel, Good flavor, wide variety of dishes.

I love the Bandera rd location. Friendly staff and will make sure your order is just how you like it. Love sitting under the covered patio

We were part of a large group celebrating Father's Day and wanted to take a moment to share our wonderful experience at Sea Island. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. We also tried the new Summer Skewers, and they were delicious. The food was incredibly fresh, delicious, and the customer service was outstanding.
The staff went above and beyond to make sure our group was comfortable and well taken care of throughout our visit. We would especially like to recognize Zainab, who was working as the cashier. Even though the restaurant was very busy, she helped our large group find seating and made sure everything ran smoothly. Her kindness, professionalism, and willingness to help made a big difference in our experience
we were impressed with the exceptional service, clean environment. We will definitely return to this Sea Island location and highly recommend it to others.
