We had orange chicken, general chicken, and sesame chicken. The sauces lacked flavor, and the chicken was overcooked to the point that it was almost too tough to chew.

We were in the southside of town earlier this past Saturday. We headed to @shifunoodle for lunch. Hubby had heard about this restaurant through Texas Eats. It’s located between a Boba Tea place and SAPD office.

Though they’re known for their noodle dishes, they have other Chinese dishes. ‘We shared the Beef Brisket Noodle Soup with the marinated egg, Mapo Tofu, Sweet and Sour Fish, and Garlic Wings. The noodle and soup was good but the beef was a little dry. Dad loved the Mapo Tofu and the Sweet and Sour Fish. I loved the fish too. We both like anything with lots of sauces. The wings seemed missing the brine and was on the dry side too. The overall experience is good and I would recommend stopping by.

Used to come here a lot when this place barely opened and everything was really good and fresh. I came here today and like the other reviews the food was nasty. The orange chicken was super stale, dry and had no taste. The only answer I could get that, that this is the orange chicken here. The proportions were super small too now. I dont know what happened to this place but a once good restaurant is now a place you should stay away from.

My family and I have been visiting this restaurant since 2019 and it has become one of our favorite restaurants in general. The staff is always so friendly and the food is all so good (although i do recommend adding black vinegar to the noodles). It’s gotten to the point where the staff know our drinks and regular orders! I very much recommend this restaurant and i’ve taken many people here throughout the years.

Vegetarian options: Most every dish has a vegetarian option and plenty of tofu offerings.

Parking: There’s an open parking lot. It’s easy to find parking within walking distance

We had high hopes about this restaurant according todifferentppl that have eaten here.. where do I begin. .. the waitress.... she was so dry and honestly, just there... Her customer service was barely noticeable. We ordered hot and sour soup. General Tso and Orange Chicken. Within 5 minutes, we had our whole order on the table. You would think that would be a good thing. WRONG!!!! The Orange Chicken was nasty. It tasted like Orange juice from HEB. SUPER BLAND...NO FLAVOR....NO SEASONING.... Overall, it was distasteful!!! They serve us days old chicken... I don't know if it was chicken or pork.... To me, that shows that you don't care, and it's all about the money!!! The food wasn't even hot. We were extremely disappointed with our experience. I highly recommend that yall NOT eat here!! Lung Fung off of South W.W.White Rd is way better!!! It's Hood... but it's Good!!!

We were excited to try ShiFu Noodle but left extremely disappointed. Arriving shortly after they opened, we ordered orange chicken and kung pao chicken. The food came out pretty quickly like in three minutes not even being dramatic, which raised some concerns. The kung pao chicken was lukewarm and tasted “off,” like it wasn’t fresh. After two bites, we stuck to the white rice and left unsatisfied, questioning the $40 price tag. other dishes may be better but for us, this was our first and last visit. Really hoping not to get food poisoning in the next 24h hours.

Super disappointed. Vistited here last year with some coworkers and the food was good so I decided to have some lunch with my mom today and the food was not worth the price. We dined in, my mom ordered the beef lo mein and she was clearly given pork, not beef. I ordered the brisket " ??" (sorry I can't remember the full name), but it had absolutely no flavor. SUPER BLAND, took only 3 bites of it and asked for a different dish, was told that I had to pay for both dishes. Also ordered the fried soup dumplings and those were the best thing that we had there. Waitress was semi - friendly -ish. Not worth eating there again.

My daughter loves pho and randomly found this place. She loved it! She is extremely picky eater and she ate practically all of the brisket pho bowl. Will definitely be coming back I am sure. Also service was great, very attentive, and sweet

Our waitress was super nice and helpful. The food was delicious!! All 4 of my boys loved their food too, which doesn't always happen, especially for trying something new! Will definitely return with friends very soon!!

We ordered 5 dishes from here and all were below average, especially the Chongqing chicken. Stick to the simple noodles if you do visit here. At least the green beans and rice were okay. That was the first and last time I had Chinese food in San Antonio.
