Went to Sichuan House for first time. Staff met us at the door and were very friendly & welcoming with knowledgeable about Sichuan food. The blue water glasses were a nice touch, but decor in general could defintely use some greenery & colour. There was no traditional music either, which would def improve the ambiance. I had the crispy dumplings with their house chili oil. My goodness, if they bottled that dipping sauce, I'd buy a case. The Mapo tofu was great. I would have liked the tofu to be extra firm but I'm just being picky.

The dong po pork belly I got to go. When I got to my hotel to open it up, it looked like creme brûlée. It was sweet, tangy, savory, rich, and I enjoyed picking the meat from in between my teeth. I plan to go back and try their other offerings...
