The salmon dish at this restaurant is truly exceptional. Every time I order it, the flavor is consistently outstanding—perfectly seasoned, cooked to perfection, and always incredibly fresh. It's rare to find a place where a signature dish delivers the same great taste visit after visit, but this restaurant absolutely nails it. If you love salmon, this is the spot that sets the standard.
Everything about the experience was outstanding. My appetizer was chicken fried oysters. They were perfectly fried, crisp, and served on a bed of greens with tasty hollandaise sauce. The lamb chops were fabulous! They were seasoned well, and cooked with a delicious crust on the outside with the inside meat medium rare. The lamb fat was rendered, exactly as it should be. I took my in-laws and husband to 1604 and it was amazing, as always! I was so happy to see Miss Jennifer back at 1604, she always makes the time to check on how our meal is and is super friendly! Chef Gary and his team always create the perfect meals, I'm not sure I've ever seen my FIL eat an entire meal at a restaurant without getting it packed to go. He ate all three courses!
