I've lived in NY for over 40 years, and had access to great sea food. SILO has excellent fresh seafood and dishes. The portions are also VERY generous and priced so fairly.

The Shrimp Nicoise is fresh, well-seasoned, and delicious.

The Miso Glazed Salmon was pure comfort food with fresh ingredients, excellent seasoning, and a rich taste.

The Shrimp and Grits were fresh, satisfying, and tasted great.

The Grilled Texas Redfish was hearty, fresh, and savory.

The Parmesan-Crusted Chicken was rich, filling, and seasoned very well.

For dessert, the dulce de leche chocolate torte is so delicious, decadent, and sweet, I'd order a whole one if I could.

I cannot recommend this place enough. Takeout is great, but eating in with the friendly staff and a great view of the hills is a treat as well.

This was a long awaited date night with my husband. SILO is on the 2nd floor, so you entered through the lobby and then the elevator. (Plenty of space for a wheelchair or scooter.) The night we went they were short handed on staff so initial service was not as quick as it should be. I used to be a server so I'm fairly understanding. We had the chef's oysters as appetizers, they were shucked nicely with no sand or shells. Our cocktails were delicious and dinner was tasty. Slightly on the saltier side but was still delicious. The atmosphere was nice, however it was really dark and had to use my phone light to see the menu. Overall and great experience!

I took my in-laws and husband to 1604 and it was amazing, as always! I was so happy to see Miss Jennifer back at 1604, she always makes the time to check on how our meal is and is super friendly! Chef Gary and his team always create the perfect meals, I'm not sure I've ever seen my FIL eat an entire meal at a restaurant without getting it packed to go. He ate all three courses! He ordered spinach salad with the warm Brie, the pecan crusted chicken and the Coconut pie and ate every bite! My husbands and my steak were cooked perfectly! Sheldon was a very sweet and attentive server and it was a pleasure having her take care of us for this special family lunch. This is my favorite restaurant in the city, we will continue to be regulars at all Silo Family restaurants!

We love eating at Silo. The food is great, the servers are always on top of taking care of you and your needs. We had Noel last Nita d he did an amazing job serving us.

We dined at Silo 1604 for our anniversary. The food as always was spot on. We always get the chicken fried oysters for an appetizer........outstanding!! And we had exceptional service from our server, Joel. Well be back!

This was truly an outstanding dinner. The wine pairings were excellent and the preparation of the quail far exceeded my expectations. The rack of lamb was such a wonderful experience. Both the wife and myself will be back. The service was great and the server knowledgeable about our choices.

If you like great, upscale comfort food in a relaxing setting, this is the place for you! The wife and I love to go here for casual dinner and a drink or two on the patio at the end of the week. We have been going to the original Silo's Restaurant for almost 20 years and love the newest location at the Dominion since it is much closer to home. They have the same quality food and a great outdoor patio! Ironically, I recently realized I have never actually left them a review so I am finally getting around to it. All I can say is, do yourself a favor and give them a try today.

Our usual order is a round of craft cocktails (they have great seasonal creations), a Caesar side salad, bowl of clam chowder and two small plate of the chicken fried oysters - one of my all time favorite bites of food! This time we received a coupon for buy one entree, get one free (up to $29) so we decided to order actual entrees this time. We have tried many of their different offerings over the years and they don't disappoint.

What we ordered:
French 75 (good as always) and a Sir Annoberry Rita (nice margarita with a good bit of heat)
Caesar Salad with extra anchovies - the extra white anchovies are soo good! The picture of this doesn't do it justice
Chicken Fried Oysters small plate - all I can say is, you have to try it! One bite with the pork belly, greens, oyster and sauce and you will be hooked for like
Chicken Fried Oyster pasta entree - same great flavors as the small plate but more than enough for a full meal.
Shrimp and Grits Entree - pretty good but not really a favorite, glad we tried it with the coupon. After all the appetizers we ended up taking it home, heated up ok.

We had the best experience at Silo. Great atmosphere and wonderful service. Even better food! We had the Salmon and the “fish feature” blackened redfish. With a pairing of Pinot Grigio suggested by our server. Absolutely exquisite! We look forward to our next visit. Thanks!

Can't say enough about the food and service. From the hostess greeting us with a Happy Anniversary, to our server continuing it. Great wine pairing with our dinner. Can't wait to go back.

Outstanding food both in taste and quality - we have been coming to Silo 1604 for many years and they never disappoint. The service is impeccable and John took outstanding care of us - he always does, that's why I always ask for him to take care of us when we come to the establishment. This time we were celebrating my wife's birthday with our visiting family and everyone was impressed with the outstanding food they got served. I rate Silo 1604 a 10/10. Keep up the good work.

SILO 1604 offers a delightful atmosphere, outstanding culinary offerings, a variety of wine/cocktails/spirits, and outstanding service (shout to our waitress, Sheldon!) in a pleasant atmosphere.

Wonderful romantic dinner with wonderful service and food

A disappointing experience for a restaurant we had such high hopes for.

The assigned wait staff was non engaging, in a rush to get to other tables, and had little care for our experience. Wait time to be served and have water refilled was poor. When the check came the wait staff gave me their notes, once again showing the lack of care for the dinning experience.

Food prep wasn’t as expected from a place like this. One meal was under prepare and the other was over cooked.

Overall it was unfortunate we ran into this type of service on such a special occasion.
