Slackers Sports Bar - Medical Center

I stopped by early in the morning after my overnight shift, and I’m so glad I did! It’s not easy finding a place that’s open for overnight workers, so this was a great find.

The drinks were excellent, and the prices were very reasonable. I had a michelada that was absolutely delicious. On Friday morning, there was a cook there offering free breakfast samples to advertise, and I tried the steak, hash browns, and eggs. Everything was cooked perfectly and honestly tasted amazing.

A special shout-out to the morning bartender, Maggie. She was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better with her great service.

If you’re looking for a place to unwind after a night shift with good drinks, good food, and welcoming service, I definitely recommend checking this place out!

Dartboards have computer issues at times. It would be great if they would upgrade at least one of the dartboards to a new model, just a suggestion. Service was a little slow when only one bartender was working. It was a lot better when the second bartender started working and it wasn't really all that busy.

They claim they have free breakfast every Friday from 8am-2pm so I stopped by this past Friday at 11am (and bought a beer of course). Well the bartender was kind but the cook took 10 minutes to come out and walked up to my table and said “so i heard you’re trying to get breakfast but we ran out of steak an hour and a half ago, i can just give you potatoes and eggs”. The weird thing is that when i walked in i noticed a GIANT TUBE OF SAUSAGE by the cooking station. When he came with my food he gave me one single egg, some potatoes, and of course a giant blank spot on the plate where the meat should’ve been. As soon as i start eating he packs up all the food, including the UNOPENED SAUSAGE. If breakfast is supposed to be until 2pm, why did he pack everything up before noon? If he had been out of steak for an hour and a half, why not go get more? And of course the biggest question- if there was sausage, why not offer us that?

The cook is keeping the food for himself. He took long to even come out because he obviously doesn’t want to work and was hoping i would just leave. I wonder if the owner is paying for the food and he’s just stealing it and claiming he used it all for customers or what’s going on but yeah, it’s not until 2pm and the cook will claim he’s out of meat and keep the rest for himself.

I think the worst part is that i come very often, probably once a week but always at night. Of course i understand that you can give out breakfast until they run out but first off, the signs don’t say “until we run out” it says until 2pm and they were not out of meat. They had a brand new sausage pack that the cook packed away for himself.

If you're a Steelers fan, this is the place to be for game day!!! Lots of cameraderie in a jersey! Free appetizers and reasonably priced drinks! Even trying to meet up with someone who never showed, it was still a pleasant experience.

Got thete at 1130am doors locked...fix your hours

I went in there for the first time the night of 8/9, it was dead there's only two other customers in there, bartender was boring and didn't start conversations with customers, but I started a tab, because I had a friend with me, but they hold on to your card until you close your tab. by 8/13 I had $1,200 of charges on my card, which I did not make and had to dispute. There's nothing stopping a bartender from either taking a picture of your card and sending it to somebody, or copying down the information and then going on a shopping spree. But since I can't prove anything, that bartender is not in jail right now.

Had the best time at slackers thanks to Rachel her drinks were obviously great but her customers service beat the best. Keep doing what your doing.
