Smashin Crab Reviews
Ate lunch at Stone Oak location at noon today; place was empty while we were there. Food was TERRIBLE! Waited 30 minutes for the food and it was room temperature, chicken had that old refrigerator chicken taste, shrimp were rubbery, “sopping bread” had not been warmed. Waitress never asked if we needed anything…. Like our beverages refilled, I had to ask for a fork. Our first and LAST experience there.
My wife and I have been married 6 months, together a total 11 years and yesterday was our 11 year anniversary. We wanted to try something different for a very special occasion so we both agreed on Smashin Crab. This was the BEST customer service we have ever received at any establishment. Our waitress Amanda was SUPER friendly, took the time to explain the menu to us, checked up on us frequently, always carried a smile when she came to our table and had such a great attitude!...read full review
I placed a to go order for my son's birthday meal. The young man who cashed me out didn't give me my change back. I had to ask him where my change was. We waited 30+ minutes for the order. We were never told when it was ready. We had to inquire. We received our meal cold. I'm wondering how long it had been sitting there. First and last time going there.

Smashin Crab is a restaurant where the staff goes above and beyond to make every visit special. The friendly servers are patient and attentive, and the manager ensures that everything runs smoothly. The restaurant offers a variety of seafood boils, with popular options like the trinity seasoning number 1 spice and Trinity #2 spice on the side for dipping. The food is often described as delicious, consistent, and generous in portions, making it a good place to enjoy a meal with friends or family. Though it can be crowded at times, leading to less-than-great service, the lively atmosphere is still enjoyable. Plenty of seating is available, and calling ahead or giving a heads-up for larger groups is recommended so staff can prepare tools and buckets in advance. The Cajun Spring Rolls were really good and the crab/shrimp boil was great too. Many guests have found it to be a go-to place for crawfish, especially on Friday evenings. The atmosphere is fun and inviting, with courteous and friendly staff. While some diners note that it is a bit pricey compared to other similar restaurants, they still look forward to their next visit. Smashin Crab combines great food and friendly service to create memorable dining experiences.
