About Smoke Shack

Smoke Shack, located in the San Antonio airport, offers a delightful dining experience with a great vibe. The service is described as phenomenal, with attentive staff ensuring customers feel welcome. Customers have praised the drinks as delicious, adding to the overall experience. The menu features popular items such as nachos, texas twinkies (bacon-wrapped jalapeños), and fried pickles, all highly recommended. Despite being in the airport, the brisket is noted to be excellent—juicy, tender, and flavorful. However, some recent reviews indicate inconsistency in food quality, with the nacho brisket and Texas Twinkie receiving mixed feedback. The breakfast menu is praised for its reasonable prices and delicious offerings, including fluffy pancakes and well-seasoned country potatoes. While some customers express satisfaction with the food, others mention issues like missing brisket and poorly made drinks, such as a Mexican martini. Overall, customers consistently highlight the attentive and friendly service, making Smoke Shack a nice place to grab a bite or have a beer while waiting for a flight.

Oh my goodness! We had bbq, ribs and brisket along with Mac and cheese, collards, fries and pinto beans. Everything was delicious and we even got takeout out for the next nights supper (we are visiting from South Carolina). The bbq sauce is amazing! Highly recommend if you want some great food!!
Wife and I travel during winter months, i myself try ribs everywhere we go. I must say there spare ribs were some of the best I’ve had. My wife like’s pulled pork sandwiches and Mac n cheese. She crushed them both. Staff were excellent. Thank you from Taco Mike😎
First Texas BBQ joint we hit, and was the best. Brisket, chicken, links and Turkey were great (had the chicken at the airport location and it was awesome too). Sides were great takes on the usual - the spicy cream corn will turnaround any cream corn haters (me) as it’s not mush and spiced right. Pinto beans and baked beans were all great - and a takeaway potato salad blew us away. The atmosphere and people are great! A must stop in SAT
