“For us, the chicken was the highlight of the meal here. The dark meat (leg and thigh) was juicy, tender, and smoky with the skin lending a lot of flavor. The ribs were also flavorful and meaty, but could be a little more tender and were also on the drier side. The brisket was a bit of a disappointment with the meat being almost flavorless and on the dry and chewy side. Unlike the chicken and ribs, the brisket needed to be eaten with BBQ sauce. For sides, we enjoyed the simple side salads but found the green beans way too peppery. We even rinsed the green beans in water and found the kick of the black peppers had been cooked into the beans. The fries that came with our meat were passable and mediocre.Overall, for amusement park food, I think the barbecue is a great value (if you like meat) and consistently flavorful (except the brisket).“

“Last night, I went to Carriqui with a party of two. We ordered Tuna Tostadas, Guacamole, Chicken Tortilla Soup, Birria, Flan, Tres Leches, and Margaritas.
Tuna Tostadas – Lights out! Sprinkle some lemon on top, take a bite, and it’s just sooo good. The flavors are perfectly balanced. Easily a must-order.
Birria – As someone who loves heavily seasoned food, I didn’t get a strong flavor kick from it, but the lamb was cooked beautifully. I’m glad I tried it!
Tres Leches – The star of the night. Hands down the best Tres Leches I’ve ever had. I’ve only tasted this dessert in Charlotte, NC before, but this one? Perfect. I devoured the whole thing.
Guacamole – So fresh, great texture.
Flan – Good, but Tres Leches stole the show. (I’m also not a huge caramel fan, so I’m a little biased.)
Chicken Tortilla Soup – This one didn’t do it for me.
Margaritas – I really enjoyed these, they are so refreshing.
Beyond the food, the ambiance was amazing. We sat outside, and everything—the music, weather, lighting—was chef’s kiss.
Would definitely come back, especially for the Tuna Tostadas, Tres Leches, and Margaritas!“

“Went this past weekend when visitng SA after the Zoo with my honey. Ruby and Louie were super kind and accommodating as soon as we walked in. Louie immediately started describing menu options/popular choices with my honey while Ruby noticed this expecting mama was out of breath, and offered me a water as we conversed about babygirl. The food was delicious, my favorite was mixing the brisket in with that mac & cheese 🤤 Our first visit, but definitely won’t be our last! Thank you 💞“
