The only reason for the rating is the length of time to get our food. I brought guests from out of state and was disappointed. Great chicken and waiter.

Southerleigh has recieved two Michelin Stars since I last visited. Impressive! Even all that hype and notoriety has not dimished the warm and welcoming atmosphere. Unless you have food allergies, pick at least 1/2 a dozen oysters to share and those Deviled Eggs. TRUST ME!

I requested booth seats and the restaurant called and told me I would have to leave at a certain time to accommodate another party.

Philippe and his staff know how to prepare the best food in a very friendly atmosphere.

The beer flight of 8 is much larger than I thought it was. Prost!!
The food was just ok, not great. The beer was also ok, not great.
The atmosphere here is absolutely outstanding. What could be better than a modern brewery in a 140 year old brewery building? I'll be back here.
Go here, ASAP!!

Love everything, only thing was they were so packed that we had to be seated outside in the heat, it was a party of 9.

Great experience and really awesome food. I wish I could’ve tried more. The service was fantastic, very helpful with recommendations and advice. I can’t wait to come back. Snapper throats were different but tasty. Half chicken was bomb. Carrot cake was really good.

This place, the atmosphere, the breeze blowing feels right. People are very friendly. the tender steak was was superb. It melts in my mouth. My daughter told the deviled eggs and fries were ordinary. Overall a great experience.

Southerleigh canceled our reservation and didn't contact me ahead of time, and didn't try to accommodate 17 people for my mom's 69th birthday dinner, they tried to make us pay a deposit of $750 for $1,500 food and drink which we were not aware of, they also said they emailed me and that was not true because I have no emails from them. I will never eat at Southerleigh ever in life. They shouldn't get this one star at all.

Getting seated on a Sunday afternoon at 1pm was relatively quick for a party of 4. Not busy. Service was slow and food took around 20 minutes to come out. Drinks were good. Atmosphere and decor is well done. Oysters mid, Shakshuka was okay, the best dish was Crawfish roll the chicken and waffles were disappointing…

A staggering disappointment for a Michelin-recognized establishment.

Let me start with the positive: our waiter was good and did a good job accommodating our group of 13 for brunch following a medical conference. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience fell completely flat.

The major issue began when a guest bit into the crawfish roll and had to physically pull a long hair out of the food and his teeth. It was incredibly unappetizing. Not wanting to create a scene or ruin the table's conversation, I explicitly asked the staff if we could discuss the incident *after* we finished eating. Despite this clear request, we were repeatedly interrupted by a manager, and then the General Manager—forcing me to repeat our boundary three separate times.

They replaced the roll (the bare minimum), but when it was time to bring the check, the management team completely disappeared. There was no final apology, no attempt to smooth things over, and zero accountability. We paid our bill and tipped our waiter, but left deeply disappointed.

Furthermore, the restrooms were in desperate need of a deep clean and disinfecting, lacking even basic functional liners and paper towels. As a group of professionals—including three doctors—these glaring health and sanitation red flags are highly concerning. Great food and ambiance mean nothing without basic hygiene and competent management. We expected much better.
