Staff was friendly and timed their check ins perfectly. GF meal (chicken sandwich) was perfection! Their choice to use a dedicated fryer for their gluten free customers is a game changer!! The cocktails were deliciously balanced as always!
If you love some good fried fish, you should definitely try the famous haute fish sandwich with a potato bun and the amazing creamy mac & cheese and if you get a little thirsty, try one of those classic margaritas with reposado tequila. It's always a good time and you should definitely go on Sundays for trivia to win gift cards, but you got to know your stuff
The food was amazing. I am my spouse ordered the haute cod fried fish sandwich and he had fries and I ordered the haute mac & cheese, surprisingly they put a big toe in that. I am a huge critic on mac & cheese and I approve. The garlic aïoli sauce please ask for extra and if you go on a Sunday, they have trivia night and we won second place $40 gift cards that was really fun. Testing my knowledge. Overall, we are definitely coming back on Wednesday for that fish sandwich and then mac & cheese even the Caesar salad was beautiful and fresh and I added extra fresh cracked pepper! Thank you, Javier for a great service and a good time
The oyster are yummy but the other menu items have not been. Something has happened in the last nine months or so. It used to be on our rotation. It is no longer not worth the effort.
We eat here often and the food and service are always outstanding! They had a special Valentine's Menu that made our dinner date even more special.
Yall, if you think you know fried chicken, think again. Wow! Southerleigh knows fried chicken. Came in and sat at the bar and was instantly greeted with a smile. The employees here truly act like they want to be here and want to give you the best experience. Started off with the breakfast old fashioned and still a Tom Collins. The Tom Collins’s was super well balanced and y’all…. I do not like bourbon but the breakfast old fashioned was amazing!!!! Give it a try, you won’t regret it (it may be brunch only).
I’m not a Bloody Mary Dan but they do have a create your own Bloody Mary bar that makes me wish I was a fan!!!
For lunch I went with the chicken and donut and the hubs went with the batter fried haute honey chicken basket. Y’all these chickens must be taken care of better than wagyu cows. I’m talking spa days every day of their lives! Super tender. I’m the dark meat queen and it was amazing!!!! Super juicy, flavorful. The donuts were sinful and perfect sweet and savory flavors. I inhaled it had to stop myself from chewing on the bone.
Finished off with a peachy palmer (Arnold Parker eat your dust) and had a sweet treat of a fried apple pie.
Ask for the general manager, Carrie and sit at the bar and chill with Dustin and you will not regret the experience.

The vibe of this place is like new and upscale.
Queso fry’s were good, they are very generous with the queso.
The lunch special is definitely the way to go comes with the gumbo.
Good water, chicken was OK, the buns weren’t great.
I wish the server was more attentive.
Am I coming back, yes probably in the future.

Great place, the fried pickles were at least double what I've gotten else where. Fried chicken and honey butter biscuits were great not to busy on Sunday afternoon.

I ordered a bowl of gumbo which was the worst tasting gumbo I've ever had. The roux was extremely thick and tasted sour. The fish was not seasoned at all. I had to toss the gumbo and fish. The red beans weren't seasoned either but it was the only thing that was edible from the meal. This was very disappointing 😞.

Great southern food and excellent service. We were in the middle at a table so a little hard to hear so choose a booth against the wall if you want a little more privacy.
