This is the original Taco Cabana, the very first one opened in 1978! The food was great! The parking would be a little cramped but this wasn't a concert because we used the drive through and it was around midnight. If you are in the mood for fajita tacos in the middle of the night, this is the please to go. As I said the food was great. The family's meet was hot, the tortillas were soft and the red and the green salsa were very fresh. We highly recommend this Taco Cabana location!

lol i came to just get an order of 12 flour tortillas, i was waiting for like 10 minutes in the lobby and there was no one even in the drive through, i just left didnt even bother to ask for the 3$ back,

This is the worst Taco Cabana in town, the food is not only prepared messy it tastes terrible! By all means avoid this location. I threw up for an hour after eating there. How do they continue to get away with serving people that horrible food while the corporate office does nothing about it SMH.

The absolute worst Taco Cabana I’ve ever stepped into! I felt like I had walked into a third world country when I walked in the door!! The counter area was separate from the eating area and was dirty. The salsas, pico & other toppings looked as if they had been sitting out for several days. Even the outsides of the containers that our food came in were dirty! The sit down area was in a separate section than the counter area, consisted of picnic tables & was about 20 degrees colder. I completely understand why the drive-thru was the preferred way to order food at this location. It is definitely not a drop-in-and-eat location!! Despite all of this, the food was surprisingly good!

This is one of the worst Taco Cabana's in town, unfortunately. Sometimes, they're on point. Most times you're lucky to get a better than mediocre experience. They often forget part of the order in the drive thru, you must insist on salsa (they never offer), and if you think going inside makes it better, it doesn't. It's almost worse to go inside to order because the incompetence and complacency is on full display before your very eyes, instead if being concealed behind the speaker and glass window. The only plus, they are usually quite nice to me in the drive thru and express a personality which I appreciate. I love TC food, this location is just not the best one around even though it is the official site of the first ever Taco Cabana in San Antonio.

Pretty dang good! The first time I came they were a bit busy, so my 3 taco order took like 25 minutes. Although I was eating inside, so I assume the drive thru is a lot faster. Either way, very friendly workers and they were working hard to get orders out. Its also near Halloween, and the place is decked out with spooky decorations. Very nice! And delicious food as usual from here. Would eat again
