They take many safety precautions during covid and all staff wear masks. Service was fast and excellent. My bf and I are trying to eat less and be better lol (but also trying to support local) so we shared the barbacoa breakfast plate that had beans, potato, and egg. It was actually enough for us to have 2 tacos each. It was very delicious.

Upon entering this establishment yesterday, the manager was extremely rude and short with me, my friend and my service dog. She DEMANDED to see documentation and the vest for my dog, which I did not have. She then told us to sit outside. After 10 minutes of waiting at a wet and soggy table, no one ever came with a menu. We promptly left and spent our money elsewhere. If you want to be yelled at, hassled and then ghosted, visit Taco Garage.

I have been coming to work to San Antonio , and without a doubt, this restaurant have the best texmex plates in town , plus the services are very good. Prices are very affordable. From the salsas to the meats ? I give at 10 .

Best decision, to come here and eat. Good food, and good service. I was greeted right away. Food price is decent and with great flavor. All over a satisfied customer and will be returning.

Heard a lot of hype about this place and finally tried it out. Ingredients are definitely fresh, and the tacos were moderately portioned with meats inside. Barbacoa was finely cut and tasted lean compared to others I have had. Although I wasn't overwhelmed by the taste of everything else it was a good experience overall here and I would return if I'm in the area again.

This is always one of our go-to places. Always a great meal, no matter what is ordered. The staff is also first rate. We really missed coming here during the lock down. So happy it is back.

Great place to sit outside in a shady spot and enjoy drinks and eats that won't break the bank. Tacos were massive and tasty too. I'll definitely be coming back.

I used to like it here, we did take out tonight and the green chicken enchiladas were definitely made with canned chicken breast, I couldn't eat it, I fed it to the dog. Beans were extremely salty and tasted like they had used ketchup. I just can't get over the canned chicken, I wonder what else they're cutting corners on.

Got the V-6 and El 444's to start and WOW... it was great! Husband and me got enchiladas that were so good. Couldn't finish them cuz they were so filling. Kiddo got soft tacos. She practically licked the plate clean. Service was great, not hoverers but didn't ignore us either. Sat outside since weather was good. Overall: excellent experience. We will definitely be back.

We were visiting our daughter over the weekend, who goes to school at St. Mary's University we dropped in late Saturday night at Taco Garage not knowing what to expect. My wife had the Guacamole tacos, which were huge , my daughter had a monster burrito, of which she could only eat about a quarter of it, I had the steak and eggs and it was delicious, the flour tortillas ae homemade and to die for. We will definitely go back and try again on a future visit. P.S., our waiter was fantastic .

We didn't really try any entrees just appetizers but they were god and the drink choices are great. If you want a relaxing place with good margaritas and setting. This is a good choice.

Giving 4 stars for the Awesome food. However the service was horrendous, I'd give no stars. Between sitting for 10 before receiving a paper with a link to the menu, to getting our food and not seeing our waitress for 25 minutes for our check. Training is definitely needed. And considering the restaurant is really at 50% occupancy due to COVID,service should be no issue.
