I went around 10am on a Saturday and the restaurant was empty, the service was friendly, and I received my food pretty quickly. I appreciate the way everything was packaged so I didn't have any grease or liquid spills from the food on the way home.
I read a lot of good reviews on the menudo but that was not my experience. I asked for a small but he said they only had the large size for some reason. I will say the menudo was PACKED with meat if that's something you're looking for but the flavor was non existent and actually left an almost sour taste in my mouth. I tried doctoring it up with some lime and salsa but even that didn't help, I took a couple bites and couldn't eat anymore... $11 wasted.
You have a choice of flour or corn and I chose flour, the flour tortillas have a very chewy/gummy texture; probably low quality store bought tortillas. I also bought two al pastor street tacos, the flavor of the al pastor was ok but the meat was somehow mushy.
I'm honestly surprised by my experience considering the reviews, would not recommend going here.

The pozole is so good! They serve plenty of fresh toppings to go with it and the service is so fast. Definitely worth a trip. We left the San Antonio area a few years ago but we make a point to stop by every single time we're back in town.

They have some of the best Pozole rojo! It is available daily. The pork sometimes has too much fat though which Iām not a fan of. The broth is delicious and not too spicy. You can ask for a small cup of seasoning to make it spicier. My sons love the burritos and quesadillas.
