Service was nonexistent. The waitress only came to bring me my drink and my food. I had to ask her for salsa at a Mexican restaurant. The salsa was mixed with Italian dressing leaving a strange taste to it. She never came back even to bring me the bill or offer a refill of iced tea even with my glass right on the edge of the table. Just terrible. Never again

Just off I 35 and N. New Braunfels Ave. is a little Mexican restaurant tucked away by one of the entrances to Ft Sam Houston.
They have a cozy atmosphere and the food is good.

This is a great little Mexican Restaurant. I come here practically everyday for lunch with my boss. The waitresses here make you feel like family and make sure everything is good. The food here taste amazing and is always hot and ready fast, I’m not waiting long when I come to eat. The pricing isn’t bad for the amount of food you get. If you’re wanting great food and atmosphere I highly recommend coming here, you won’t be disappointed.

They only gave us 2 tortillas for 2 lunch plates. Two total, not each. Shame, because the tortillas were fluffy and tasty. Overall, the food was pretty good. Worth a try if you are in the area.
