Had a good size order. In my order I specifically asked for two orders of bacon not crispy/burnt and that’s exactly how it came. When I went inside to let them know they said that’s how it comes and do I want my money back. No talk about we will remake it for you. Why because it’s not fresh it’s premade. So makes me wonder about all the food there is there meat made Monday and served again throughout the week wow . Think before you go here

Best menudo it the city!! I have tried other restaurants menudo and none of them compare to these folks! Best to get later on in the day…but the folks don’t miss on it!! Trust me!! You won’t be disappointed!!

Waitress she was very professional and polite.

I try this restaurant before they need to cook the flour tortillas instead of being raw . Anyway I will give them a chance again.

Genesis was our server last night, 5/21 I was with a group of 5 and most of us ordered a dish that had a side of tortillas.
When we were shorted one not a big deal right?
Nah Genesis literally argued with us over ONE TORTILLA wild. I even got to the point of we will PAY for this extra Tortillas tortilla bottom line we NEED more.

Still arguing she said of course she will charge us. At this point we find it humorous that we were argued with over the gatekeeper of tortillas.

So we go to pay out and noticed not only we were charged got the tortillas but all 5 of us were for a single tort bruh. Then she changed gratuity???

Menue clearly stated on PARTIES OF 6 or more. Copped an attitude the whole time.

Point is her attitude was garbage. The argument was unnecessary.

What Mexican restaurant doesn't give a unholy amount of tortillas? Inflation I get but damn dude I just wanted to eat.

They charge you what they want and if you don't catch it. They are sneaky if you don't catch it before they charge you. Will not go back again. Watch your receipt for unnecessary charges.

Very nice people but couldn't remember to bring certain things and it wasn't busy had to tell them multiple times before getting the items we needed . Food was great and the price was great as well .

I don’t know if these reviews actually inform people or not. Had I read one like I’m about to write I would’ve avoided this establishment.

Drive thru order. Cashier Caja was polite and pleasant but seemed to have trouble understanding my order. I asked for one pound of beef parrillada with flour tortillas. She asked if I wanted beef, chicken or mixed. I repeated, beef. She asked if I wanted flour tortillas. I repeated, flour tortillas. I ordered a medium chips and queso. She asked what size? I repeated, medium. She asked if I wanted the 16oz. I said I don’t know, whatever the medium size is. So then at the window, to her credit, she asked again if I wanted the beef or chicken. For the third time I said beef.
I paid, I tipped.

I got home with my order and had received one pound of beef and SHRIMP.
So, NOT one pound of ALL beef.

I returned to the restaurant. There was NO MANAGER ON DUTY.

Caja does not speak English so another girl asked how she could help. I showed them both what I received. They said I wasn’t charged for the beef/shrimp mix. I explained that Caja got everything right 3 times so I’m sure it was just a cooks error.

Fortunately no one in my family has a shellfish allergy and the order was just for my 3 kids. So I told them go ahead and eat what they could from the order and I’ll go get it fixed.

The cashier that was speaking for the manager felt everything was fine because I wasn’t charged for the shrimp. I kept explaining yes but I WAS charged for ONE POUND of beef and I did not receive ONE POUND of beef.

She said a mix isn’t equal parts 1/2 lb beef and 1/2 lb chicken.
(Note that if you still decide to eat here and order a mix!!) But why are we still talking about chicken?!

Her resolution:
She said I could go BACK home, get the 10 shrimp and return them to the restaurant and they could give me a LITTLE portion of beef, NOT a 1/2 pound.

I said I’m going to go back home. I’m not going to bring 10 shrimp back here. I’ll take it as a LOSS both in food and money and just live and learn. Never return.

It’s your typical experience as everywhere, you cannot trust any establishment for order accuracy so that is my fault for not checking my order before I left the drive thru to ensure order accuracy.

And if you still choose to eat here, and THEY screw it up you can trust that they will not be honorable nor handle it professionally in an effort not to lose a customer and to maintain a respectable establishment worthy of praise and repeat business.
