I’ve had this place multiple times. It’s one of my favorite birria places but today was the first time it tasted off. The sauce was super watery and tasted as if it was dipped into soap and tap water. The birria itself tasted as if it was cooked and soaked in soap. This is. 10/10 place to eat at but today I was highly disappointed.

Employees were friendly and one recommended the strawberry fresca. I originally wanted to try the cucumber lime fresca but I learned they don’t have all of them every day, so don’t get your hopes up on a particular flavor and be open to trying their recommendations! Prices were NOT listed for the frescas - $9.50 per! Phew - I thought it was pretty expensive for a drink at first but when I realized how big it was, that it was made with fresh fruit, and includes all the garnishes/candy, I realized it was a steal!
The food came very quickly and both the tacos and quesadillas were delicious. The green sauce was very spicy for me but I couldn’t get enough of it.
If your google maps tells you you’ve arrived and all you see is an empty gravel parking area and a pink restaurant, don’t worry, it’s there - it’s just BEHIND the pink building! :) walk toward it and you’ll see! Parking is on the street and when we went it was very hard to find a spot even tho the food trucks didn’t seem very busy at all.

My girlfriend and I were visiting the area from Austin, and are SO glad we chose this spot for dinner. We split the double stacked beef birria quesadilla and it was INSANE. So much flavor and so filling. The aqua fresca was sooo refreshing. The owner, Ray, came by and was so friendly. We will absolutely be back!
