The food was amazing from start to finish. The grilled oysters were perfect!!! The grits in the shrimp and grits dish were so good! They were creamy but a bit larger grain so there was almost a crunch. Mind blowing good! The drinks were spectacular. We tried the Nola Sour, Squash by Gosh and spicy bloody mary. Wow! They were all flavorful and decently strong. We will definitely be back!
Overall, our experience at Restaurant Claudine was very nice. We were having an early dinner before a show so there was not many people in the restaurant. Service was great, although I would have preferred a table not so close to the kitchen. I had an very good strip steak and frites and my wife had the red snapper, which was even better than the steak. We had some very interesting crab beignets with a champagne honey for an appetizer.
