1st time there. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is a renovated Victorian home. The vintage Victorian decor was fabulous. The dinner areas are segmented into 4 small dining areas. They are cozy and create an intimate setting. They really sweat the details.Shout out to our server Cortez. He was very friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu and was on point with recommendations. We ordered the Escargot. WOW were we blown away. The chef's rendition severs it out of the shell in a bowl with an amazing sauce... The chef has ruined Escargot for us... This is the only way we want to eat it going forward!!I had the Snapper... The sauce again stole the show. Great dish. The only critique was the duck dish my wife ordered. Despite internal temp being cooked to a perfect medium, the sear was overdone and was a little tough.Overall great venue and great experience. Definitely recommend and will go back next time in SA.

The food was amazing from start to finish. The grilled oysters were perfect!!! The grits in the shrimp and grits dish were so good! They were creamy but a bit larger grain so there was almost a crunch. Mind blowing good! The drinks were spectacular. We tried the Nola Sour, Squash by Gosh and spicy bloody mary. Wow! They were all flavorful and decently strong. We will definitely be back!

Overall, our experience at Restaurant Claudine was very nice. We were having an early dinner before a show so there was not many people in the restaurant. Service was great, although I would have preferred a table not so close to the kitchen. I had an very good strip steak and frites and my wife had the red snapper, which was even better than the steak. We had some very interesting crab beignets with a champagne honey for an appetizer. I loved them but my wife just found them interesting. Dessert was a little bit of a letdown with just an average pecan pie w/ice cream. The pie was served to us cold and we had to ask to have it warmed up. Overall, though, a very cool little place. It's a house that's been redone in the style of a nice French country restaurant with different color schemes for each room. Nice atmosphere and soft music set a fun mood. Food was very good, but not sure it blew us away enough to come back.

Bring your date here, you will score major points. Intimate French atmosphere and mood, personal and professional staff (thanks Ray!), food is excellent. ….First place I’ve actually taken a photo of the bathroom to brag about. Love this place.

We arrived early and were seated almost immediately. The room they gave us was set for at least four parties but we were able to dine in the room alone as I requested a romantic setting. The music was soothing and a mixture. I was pleasantly surprised to see ladies dressed for tea parties with hats and gloves. The meal from the oyster appetizers, the rabbit bolognese, glazed carrots, gumbo and pecan pie we worth every penny as it was delicious. Highly recommend this for any occasion.

We went here for our anniversary and had a fantastic time. The service and ambiance were flawless, and the food was great. We had the punch, cornbread, beignets, fried chicken, and steak frites. Our waiter was very knowable and kind (great work Cortez!).

Booked a reservation for brunch during an anniversary weekend. Got seated at a terrible table where my seat extended past the corner so my chair was in a walkway with my wife tucked into a tight corner, plus a dusty wall sconce above our table the was just barley above me head. Even worse, it was all of 6-8’ away for the POS system where you could overhear the waitstaff talking about their guest. Our server definitely had attitude from the start which tainted things, and really rushed us on ordering by coming up every few minutes to ask if we were ready. The food was very good, but not enough to look past the rest. Stayed all of 60 min and I was not surprised it was as empty when we left as it was when we arrived. It’s a shame because my wife hosted a dinner there with friends a while back and really enjoyed it which is why we came for brunch. Maybe it’s better in the evening, but it definitely is not on our list of good brunch spots in SA.

We enjoyed our experience at Restaurant Claudine. We did have a vegetarian though and were disappointed that they didn't have more flexibility making something for her. She ended up dining on sides and a salad.. otherwise, the rest of us enjoyed our meal.

I have eaten here one other time and it was fabulous. Maybe just an off night or a new chef for our Saturday night dinner. We ordered the okra and the beignets. The okra was fabulous. Honestly, the only thing that was eaten. Amongst the 4 of us, 2 out of the 3 beignets were left. More if you consider the portions on our plates not eaten. Gumbo was ok, my husband ate about 1/2 of it. He ordered the fish and I ordered the pork. Just not good. My daughter and I ate here when they first opened and it was over the top delicious. We fought over the last beignet and the chicken oh my. Just so good. I am hoping it was just an off night.

The hot chicken wasn't very good this time. It was a lot of fat and very little chicken. We've been here a few times and this time the food seemed off. A little disappointing for my wife's birthday dinner.

Delicious heirloom tomato salad and Kobe beef burger. Ordered the oysters and that was a flop unfortunately. They were so tiny and surprised they didn't come with any bread to place them on. The other food was delicious besides that though. Ambience is nice and the decor is adorable. The waiter was great!

We went for afternoon tea and it was everything we hoped for! We loved the ambience, decor, and music! The tea was yummy and so was the food that they served with tea. I cannot wait to go back for brunch and dinner!
