Texan Sizzle is a fantastic breakfast and lunch restaurant in downtown San Antonio. It is a smallish spot with only a few tables inside. I had the breakfast tacos on Sunday and thought they were so good I had to go back and try the breakfast sandwiches on Monday. Excellent food all around and the two guys who work there are super friendly.

I really wanted to like this place but maybe we just got the wrong things. The barbacoa taco had no flavor and was extremely greasy, I could not eat it and my boyfriend did not like his breakfast sandwich he said it was soggy and no flavor. Maybe just an off day. 3 stars for good customer service.

Really tasty burgers. No French fries but they offer home made hash browns as a side dish, I liked them ?.You can go next door and grab a beer and bring it in with you.On a side street so you have to look for it. And it is very small. But great things come in small packages ?

So glad that we found this diamond in the rough! It’s off the beaten path and so worth the extra 5 min to find if you are on the Riverwalk. My hubby had the Philly cheesesteak and I had the cheeseburger. He has had many and said this one was up there with the best! My cheeseburger was very tasty! I really enjoyed the fresh veggies and cheddar cheese on it! And homemade hash browns!! Looking forward to a breakfast taco in the morning! They’re open everyday from 9-3!The staff was very helpful and friendly. The eatery is small but very clean and comfortable.
My PhD advisor recommended this place. OMG!! This place is amazing. The Tacos, cheese melt areYUM. I bet the other offerings will be amazing as well. Haven't had a Egg and Cheese melt like this in decades. On a Texan Toast makes it special.
