“Great location for fresh made to order thai food. My go to is the springs rolls fresh and the peanut sauce is really good. The mango sticky rice is also a go to for dessert. The dumplings are also a hit. Its a food truck so have to take to go but thats not a issue. The owner is friendly and provides great service i have been to several thai places around town and he is up thier in food and service“

“Kin Thai & Sushi (San Antonio Dominion Restaurant) - Just discovered this place. We went there for Thai cuisine, which we had, but the sushi rolls we saw come out looked fantastic, so we will definitely go back for sushi next time. We ordered the Thai Spring Rolls, Chicken Phat Thai, and Chicken Phat Khing, and were treated to some Mango Sticky Rice for dessert. Everything looked great and tasted delicious. The Phat Thai was as good as we have had anywhere! The servers were efficient, attentive and courteous. Prices very reasonable. The dining room was full, but not noisy. A very pleasant ambiance for a casual dinner.“

“We have been eating at the Thai Restaurant for nearly twenty years, through four owners. We really have to say that the current owner has better food and service than the any of the previous owners. My husband always orders the green curry, which is just spicy enough for him, whether he asks for a 6 or 10 on the spicy scale. I try to order different plates, from the Pad Thai, which is always delicious with nice, firm noodles, to the Basil Fish, which is a fresh tilapia filet with lots of fresh stir-fried veggies. Everything is always fresh and clean. And the service is great, fast, efficient and very nice. We highly recommend the Thai Restaurant, for lunch or dinner, or both!“

My card was compromised at 5am Sunday and although I opted to wait until Monday morning to deal with it, the bank put a hold on my account, rightfully so. They were so patient as I dealt with trying to transfer funds to another account and even started on my order so when it would be ready by the time I completed payment. By the time I made payment, food was packed and hot! We were so hungry, we decided to eat it there. We had no problem eating it in our to go boxes, but they insisted on putting it on plates. The food was amazing! Best Thai food I've ever had here in town. I'm so grateful for a restaurant that has food that aligns with their service and values. We can't wait to return!“

This is likely a mistake caused by the fact that Lemongrass is a very common name for Thai places and the reviewer mistook this one for another place he had patronized. “I have been underwhelmed by other Thai places we’ve tried since moving to SA two years ago, but Thai Dee did not disappoint! We had tom yum soup with tofu , vegetable egg rolls, potstickers, beef pad ka pow, and khee mao with shrimp. Everything was fantastic! My husband would’ve liked a little more spice on the ka pow, but I imagine they hear a lot of Americans ask for spicy and not really mean Thai spicy. 😉🌶️ We will definitely be back to try more of the menu! If you were closer to Lackland, we’d be there weekly! 😆“

We got the appetizer sampler with spring rolls, crispy egg rolls, and gyoza. This was served with a soy sauce, a mixed hoisin/peanut type sauce, and fish sauce. We also got the Karb Lao chicken, and a pineapple fried rice. Coming with my Viet wife, we loved all the flavors and cooking of each. The service was also great, and have had no issues.“
