10 pals walk into a bar and didn’t know what to expect. What they found was no joke. We walked into a wonderland of adult beverages, treated like family and made life long memories. The Divide provided us with the atmosphere to turn our low key hill country hang into a hootin’ hollerin’ party, genuinely the best night of our weekend trip. Beautiful outdoor area, great karaoke and a draft lift as long as the road you drove in on. IF you’re in San Antonio make sure to get to this spot and create some memories.

I’m not a believer in fate, but if you tune in every once in awhile, life tends to open a door if you’re looking. So when I found myself in hill country, unsure of the life decisions I had made to lead me there, me and my friends happened past the door of the divide. Going in has made all the difference. Ten years from now I won’t be able to tell you anything about that weekend except for the night we spent at the divide, surrounded by new friends and old, singing our hearts out into the darkened hills, buoyed by the renewed belief that people make all the difference, that maybe there is a purpose to this life we live, that laughter is the sound of angels, and that the divide is a special place run by special people. Go, follow the pull of the universe, and let the divide be a step towards bringing us all together. 10 stars.

The Divide was close to our rental house for a few days and we had a blast! Food, space, hospitality and staff were amazing but most importantly Liza/crew were welcoming and treated us like we were family for the weekend. Will I ever return to San Antonio? Not sure! But I will always hope to return to THE DIVIDE!

The musician played very mellow songs that can put you to sleep...lol! It was great as conversations can be great without loud music. However if you want to bring more people, you might want to consider bands that are more upbeat such as Finding Friday or Passing Strangers.

The bartenders and owners truly make the place special — they’re friendly, attentive, and just genuinely great people. It’s one of those spots where you always feel at home and have a great time.

We have the best time here. We’ve had the best experience over the last 4 years, when we moved into the neighborhood. We enjoy bringing our out of town friends here and having friend gatherings and celebrations here. Great family vibes and we’re always greeted like family. The new food kitchen is Fire!!!!

Love this place! Liza, Ariel, Hailey and Tristan are the best. They make everyone feel at home and are so welcoming. They are like family! They recently added a kitchen and the food is so good. We had the wings, wedge salad and truffle fries. Omg… great choices! We’ve had parties here and also stop in for the occasional drink and food. They are always adding updating the facility too. Stop in and see them!

We didn’t try any of the food trucks outside while there, but the kitchen inside was super good.
All this combined with a full bar, an ice cream bar, and baby goats, I’d 10/10 recommend.
