It was a cool experience. You didn't really have to deal with anyone period and then the bartender was the coolest . The owner sitting there at the end of the bar just as cool. i'd say the atmosphere was relaxed and good prices. Mixed bag of people and music kinda like a first date
If you’re feeling hungry or just want to unwind after a long day of work, this is the place to be!!! They have so much to offer, from finger licking food to a variety of tap beers. This place is also just the place to come for a family game night or karaoke nights on Wednesday!
Pros:-Fun concept-Clean, nice dining room-Good selection of beers-Friendly Bar service-Games and Legos to entertain kids-Plenty of indoor and outdoor seatingCons:-Several tapped beers, maybe 5/30-Half of the menu was "unavailable"-Really rude kitchen service-Food was meh (burnt popcorn, cold tortillas with tacos, microwave macaroni and cheese)-No changing table
I love this place. It’s great for sampling all different beers and ciders—you pay by the fluid ounce. Try the charcuterie board, it’s surprisingly good. The patio is also really nice.
A great place to hang out under the lights outside and have a few beers. It's a pour-it-yourself beer spot with great seating outside, cool events happening all the time, board games for families or friends, and good food. Give it a try!
Kid-friendliness: Plenty of board games to play and usually have a projector playing movies or games outside
One of our favorite places to chill out! The service is always top notch and the food is really good. The way it works: you get a card and insert the card into the slots above your beer selection. You pour for yourself at “da wall o’ beer,” it charges by the ounce. The food is really good and is a nice mix of bar fare and actual real food. If the soy garlic ribs are available, order them! (Sara curates a good menu.)
You know those self-service frozen yogurt places where you can get as much or as little as you want and mix them together and basically just do what you want? Now imagine that same place set up to serve BEER instead of fro-yo! The Dooryard is that place and you owe it to yourself to visit. The staff is super friendly and patient so they'll show you how to get set up. There is a slight learning curve: you have to open a tab with a credit card and then they give you a temporary "member" card that you use to activate the taps. A 45 second tutorial and you're on your way.HUGE selection of beer and you can try as little or as much as you want since you pay by the fluid ounce (kind of like how a gas pump charges you for gasoline).Find a stout that's a little too sweet? Then the next one is a little too thin? Mix them until it's just right for YOU!There's games available, good seating inside and out. I love this place and if you like beer, you're going to love it, too.
Pouring your own beer was a cool experience. Chris, the bar attendant, was nice and walked us thru the process... good variety of beer, something for any beer lover. We ordered their pretzel and was slightly sweet, hot and delicious... contactless ordering concept....the ambiance was casual. Friendly vibe... will come back...
Our favorite spot to drink beers & have great conversations. You get to try different beers on tap. You get to explore different varieties of beers. They have great food as well. Super friendly staff. Can’t wait to go back again.
Great little spot! Pour your own beer and get an awesome adult lunchable! (Charcuterie board) Just an over all great place to chill.

This place is awesome.? Great idea, very good craft beer selection. Highly encourage anyone to stop by and enjoy the experience this owner has created for this area. They have food, games, entertainment, well managed, something for everyone. See you at the Dooryard!!
It’s an all you can drink, serve yourself buffet of beer – hoo-ray beer! You literally walk up to the tap and serve yourself. Read on for details. The service is friendly and fantastic. They are very patient, and they explain how everything works. They scan your credit card, and then they give you something like a debit card that you use to get beer from the taps. At the end of the night, you turn your card in and find out what the total is.They have a good variety of beer, and the place is nice. Just be careful when pouring your own beer. They charge by the ounce (and that includes foam). If you aren’t good at pouring your own draft beer, ask one of the staff for help. It’s also possible that the keg you are drawing from is tapped (almost out of beer). It’s a good concept but it kinda came off more as a novelty to me.I’ll go back if friends want to go hang out and have fun, but I don’t find myself becoming a regular.
I wasn't here long because I needed to be somewhere else. That said; The Dooryard is a cool concept - with lots of self-pour beer taps - and I met the owner who was very friendly. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.
Great except for red head girl. Chris is great, beer is great, food is great, games are great. But red head girl was audibly MOANING and grunting the whole time near closing saying things like “so many tabs open” and “there’s no more time for gamesss!” While she was wiping things down. She was so dramatic is was halarious but certainly not good service. If I hadn’t already been here before and met Chris I probably wouldn’t come back because of her.
One of my favorite spots in town. If you haven’t dropped in to SA’s only self-serve, pour-by-the-ounce taphouse, you need to check it out. A great selection of continuously updated local brews are on tap, and the staff is always terrific. There are several recurring events (karaoke, trivia, etc.) and the vibe/atmosphere is spacious and clean. The patio seating is great too, especially when we want to bring our pup along. Highly recommended!
