Q, April, Kayla, and “Bossman” made this visit to the Riverwalk a lot of fun through their interactions with us!

Asked for the manager due to waitress being rude and unfriendly. We asked for the menu to order food for table of two but because I was paying for my two daughters sitting I was informed they usually used to people order without sitting. Kids are 26 and 14. I'm the finance. Why couldn't I pay for food at the table but instead of a snub? Ty

If you order from the bar, you cant sit at the patio tables. They wont tell you that, and they will ask you to hurry up and leave (even if there are several open tables). Margarita was okay and super sweet.

Jazz nights along River Walk starts at 7 PM and the second set is at 9 PM.

Great place to sit and enjoy the music.

I was in town for a conference and had the pleasure of hearing the Alamo Allstars—they are absolutely phenomenal! Such an amazing jazz band that made the night unforgettable. We were served by Chloe, who was personable, friendly, and incredibly attentive.

This restaurant is a hidden gem—not only is it right on the River Walk, but it also has a cigar deck upstairs with comfortable seating. Maybe one day they’ll even add TVs for sports, which would make it perfect. Between the music, the atmosphere, and the service, you will not be disappointed

The kind of afternoon frozen cocktail spot on the river walk in San Antonio that will get along in your afternoon just right. Are all these venues owned by one or a few groups only? Is the river an authentically beautiful integration of human existence and ecological harmony? Do you care? Is ignorance bliss? Again, The Frosty Dog is a great stop to pop your afternoon delight! 😎 enjoy!
*note: expect high prices, high human presence, high temperatures and humidity and low space, and many other levels of potential public offenses! Plus, it’s Texas 🟰 posturing, entitled arrogance, and high idolatry of idiocy. Yee Haw!!🤠

Pass on getting a drink here and go to a better bar or restaurant. We tried a large frozen daiquiri, and it was so bad it was almost undrinkable. It was basically just ice with next to no flavor, while also being incredibly expensive. They also added a charge for “chips” that they never gave us. The only redeeming factor was the location atmosphere, but you’ll get that at any other place on the river walk. There is a reason for their poor Google review average… we wish we would have checked first

Here’s a review for Frosty Dog in San Antonio:

Frosty Dog is a great spot along the River Walk, offering reasonably priced drinks and a vibrant atmosphere. It’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy the scenic surroundings. The chips and dip were also quite tasty, making it a nice accompaniment to our drinks. Whether you’re looking for a casual hangout or a quick refreshment, Frosty Dog is a solid choice!
