This place is fantastic. Wonderful art and vintage furniture everywhere. The drinks are strong and there's a food truck connected with it which serves all kinds of food. I would highly recommend it.

The Jewel cafe and bar is just as it's name states, " A Jewel in San Antonio". My husband, 23 year old daughter and I visited this establishment Saturday morning. The new owners are more than friendly and welcoming. They educated my family on the history of the business and when it was a home. They elaborated on their menu and services. This place is one of a kind for sure! I wasn't sure if it was open. We were just walking after we had brunch at Blush. I peeked inside the window, and the person inside waved me in.

He was so friendly and allowed us to come in to enjoy the atmosphere and have a few non-alcoholic drinks.

This place is unique with helping spread support for local artists to hang their artwork on the walls. Be sure to visit each room as each one is different...
