Food was delicious. This and Guenther House are two my favorite breakfast stops in San Antonio.

The Magnolia Pancake Haus is a charming gourmet diner with delicious offerings. The blueberry pancakes, classic French toast with bacon and eggs, and the standout Fitzgerald Eggs Benedict were phenomenal. Their unique menu items are incredibly tempting—I’d be a regular if I were local! The outdoor seating area is beautiful, perfect for events, and the adjacent Magnolia venue is ideal for gatherings, meetings, or weddings. Highly recommend! This version streamlines the text, enhances clarity, and maintains your enthusiasm. Let me know if you’d like further adjustments!

We had the street corn frittata off the summer menu and upgraded our side pancakes to the banana foster pancakes. We shared (2 people) and left satisfied but not stuffed. The frittata was good but I think I’d skip next time and stick to pancakes, waffles, French toast, etc. On my list for next time: bread pudding French toast and Texas shaped peach pecan waffle. Note for vegetarians - lots of options just make sure to ask they cook your food in oil and not bacon grease. Shout out to our sweet waitress, Ashlee, who took great care of us! Really great patio area and outside bar for waiting. Highly recommend getting on the waitlist early!

The food is good and not like your typical breakfast places. The only thing about is the waiting time but it could move quicker because its breakfast. Once you have the syrup you wouldn't want anyone else.

This was my first time there. The parking lot seemed full, but found a place relatively quick.
The food and service were good 👍🏼 I'll be back.

The staff were great and I liked the vibe of an old southern breakfast place.

We thought the place was overrated. None of the plates stood out as fantastical for the wait and price of the food. You’ll find better valued food elsewhere.

Fyi. Wait to be seated. No prices on menu.

another great visit to Magnolia pancake Haus. Great breakfast and excellent service. Be prepared for a wait before a table is ready. Today we arrived around 1130am and had to wait about 20 mins.

It was my 1st time trying Magnolia Pancake Haus. I had the meat omelette with cheddar and spinach. Food was hot. This was the best breakfast I had in a long time. The server Ashlea W. was all smiles and was very attentive. She made me feel welcomed. I will 100% return and recommend.

I will never step foot in this place ever again! The atmosphere and service were horrible. The Hostess was showing us attitude and gave us horrible looks and in the end even gave our table away. If I had the option to give it zero stars I would.

After hearing so much buzz about Magnolia Pancake Haus, I finally made my way there, and let me tell you, it was so worth the wait! This spot is clearly a local favorite, and now I completely understand why. From the moment I walked in, the warm, inviting atmosphere made me feel right at home though I’ll admit, I was a bit excited to dig into what I’d heard were some of the best pancakes around!

I went for the pancakes 🥞😋and the oatmeal, and I was not disappointed. The pancakes are an absolute must-try. Fluffy, light, and perfectly golden, each bite is like a little bite of heaven. They’re served warm and with the perfect amount of syrup, but honestly, they’re so good that they could stand alone. Whether you like them plain or with toppings, they hit that sweet spot between indulgence and comfort food.

Now, let’s talk about the oatmeal. I wasn’t expecting it to steal the show, but wow, it was a pleasant surprise! It’s creamy and perfectly textured comforting without being too heavy. Topped with a sprinkle of cinnamon and brown sugar, it’s the kind of dish that’s just as satisfying on a chilly morning as it is on a cozy weekend brunch.

Though the restaurant tends to get packed, it’s clear why people keep coming back. The food is outstanding, the service is friendly, and the vibe is welcoming. My first visit definitely won’t be my last I can’t wait to return and explore more of the menu!

If you haven’t been yet (or if you've been hesitant because of the crowds), trust me, Magnolia Pancake Haus lives up to the hype. It's worth every minute!

While on vacation we saw the great reviews and decided to endure the long wait time in hopes of something unique. Ultimately, the waitlist program that they use failed to call us, even though we had a text showing we were in line, the staff was arguing with us and we ended up having to wait in a special section for another 15 to 20 minutes after we’ve already waited an hour. The pancakes were mediocre, considering it’s part of their namesake, and the eggs Benedict weren’t very exciting either. Their food is in alignment with roadside diner quality, but with way longer wait times and less friendly staff….. not a great experience for us.

The food was delish and the staff and atmosphere were nice. If you plan on eating here, go early because of the wait (a tell tale sign). I'd try again.

Extremely disappointing, and gross food. Our waitress was fantastic, but the food and other services were terrible. I got the corned beef hash which was completely flavorless, just tasted like burnt potatoes. I really tried to enjoy it, but it wasn’t salvageable even with salt and hot sauce. I told them it was gross and they said they no longer season the food because there was a problem with allergies… they also charge a 3.5% fee if you’re paying with anything other than cash, which was only advertised at checkout. EVEN a debit card is charged extra. For a two hour wait, this was incredibly disappointing. And I paid for a meal that just went into the trash.
