wish i had one of these in my hometown, great service, everything hits

Snackcidentally came here two, maybe three times our first week living here. The menu has something for everyone and nothing disappoints.

Clean place, great taste

It’s like they pick and choose who they wanna take the orders from. It took a long time just to get crepes. The three little teenagers making them which I don’t think it took that many people to make just kept joking around by the time I got to my ice cream it was melted in the Togo tray. So I’m assuming just don’t buy crepes🤷🏻‍♀️ OR the owner should just take it off the menu if it’s a problem to make them… I did end up having a problem when the girl handing them to me started laughing trying to go back over to the other girl because the crème started slipping off and she was trying to redo it… sorry but I would not wait another 20 minutes just to get fixed!✌🏻

All their snacks are delicious. Shout out to the worker there, Jade, for taking care of us. Awesome customer service!

The ice cream was so soft and delicious. The place was very clean, colorful and inviting.

Went in on a hot Sunday afternoon for some paletas. There were about 4 workers behind the counter. We were not greeted and the girls just looked at us. One was making a crepe, one trying to make a shake, and the other just being useless. It was not busy either. We were finally helped by a young man. Their customer service is horrible. The paletas were really good though.

Frida was the absolute BEST! I planned an ice cream social for 30 people to celebrate the end of the school year for my kids, and Tropicana and their team totally delivered. Frida’s customer service was top-tier super helpful, friendly, and made everything stress-free. Everything we ordered was delicious and a total hit with both kids and adults. Highly recommend them for any event 10/10 experience! Not only were they handling my large party but lots of walk in customers!

I like this place, but there's 1 girl who always looks like she doesn't wanna be there or that helping a customer is some kind of inconvenience to her. With that being said if she makes your order she makes it like half assed. Know from experience and I'll make sure she doesn't help me again. Other than that, I like this place. Only 3 stars cause of her tbh.

We have always loved going to Tropicana, but their Dubai chocolate strawberries are my new fav! I can’t get over how delicious it is and very on point with how Dubai chocolate and pistachio cream is supposed to taste. 10/10 😄

Muy bien servicio gracias a Frida. Frida went above and beyond to make what I was craving. Nothing crazy just strawberry ice cream with chocolate chunks. And it was delicious. Thank you Tropicana for having such a great employee.

What we ordered was great, though it tasted a bit like cleaning products, which is great that i know they're cleaning thorougly, but also remember to wash out the soap properly. The service was interesting, im from Houston, so maybe I just don't understand San Antonio culture, but the girl forgot what I ordered 4 times. She asked me to repeat myself several times, and I even went out of my way to lean closer to her. The music was also extremely loud. I was left extremely confused and baffled by the girls behavior overall, I had never experienced anything like it before, but upon speaking to my partner, he said his friends always experience bad customer service here also. It's disappointing because I'm just excited in general to be in a Latino dominant area, so I expect friendliness, but I suppose that was silly of me. Im probably not coming back here anytime soon, and I hope they hire friendlier, more considerate staff.

Never had anything bad there!
However the coconut horchata seems to have changed recipes cause it has a fake, strong extract aftertaste. Other than that, everything is excellent!
