Simply delicious, OMG How we enjoy them, but need to mention all the salsas they have, they are tasty. I highly recommend them! Soon I'm gonna try the pizza!

Just stop in for the 1st time. Was excited cause I didn’t know this existed and I love he. Fresh tortillas. Ordered 4 tacos, 1 bacon and egg, 1 Barbacoa, 1 Guisada & Cheese and 1 brisket and egg. All but the barbacoa were bad. Eggs don’t taste good and the Guisada was horrible. Their red salad is like ketchup. Def need to go back to the drawing board. The tortillas were the only good things.

Wow, HEB got breakfast tacos? Yes they do, and they’re really good. See pictures. True Texas Tacos is in the little HEB gas station out in front of the parking lot. It’s *not* in the True Texas BBQ drive thru connected to the main grocery store. I hope HEB does this at other locations in the future.

I come here for tacos on the weekends and they have the best, freshest breakfast tacos on my side of town. It's in a gas station so there's no seating except outside, but plenty of room to stand and wait for your tacos. Today, the employees were straight fire. I noticed how well they worked together as a team, fast and efficient. I called and found out Melissa is the manager today. Kudos to this manager and her team. Looking forward to enjoying my tacos at home.

The gas station is very nice and clean. I like their warm ready to eat breakfast. It looks better than QT's and I am a fan of QT for being a gas station. The empanada was delicious as well as the breakfast taquito however their tacos where not as good to me. I like authentic tortillas and these did not taste as authentic and soft. I would still come back but not for their tacos.
The orange turmeric Agua Fresca is definitely worth coming back for too ?
I will have to come back to try the Non breakfast items like the freshly made pizza.

Why did they change the tortillas? They are absolutely trash now! They are not good. They look fake and they are even smaller which means they give you less egg for the same price. If you think I’m lying. Go try and order the tortillas by themself. THEY DONT EVEN SELL THEM BY THEMSELVES ANYMORE. I don’t even want a response from the owner. It needs to be fixed. Whoever made the call to change tortillas is a dummy and didn’t think things through. I would add a photo but the taco didn’t deserve a photo.

This might be first time I've seen heb fail.....been here 5 times, 2 times were closed early at noon, other 3 times my order has been messed up or took way too long. The space in the gas station isn't big enough for crowd they are drawing.......it's not worth it. Way better taco options out there
