The food was delicious and given it’s made up front there’s an expected delay, so if your looking for a quick dine in then it’s not recommended. The wait is worth it, the owners give good customer service and are very polite, the wait staff could use improvement in checking in with the customers as well as taking orders quick to minimize the wait time to get the food to the customer. Overall the food was delicious, the wait time could definitely use improvement.
I ordered jollof rice, Egusi and Efo both with beef and pounded yam with extra goat meat on the side. By far the best place I’ve gone in San Antonio for African food! If I were rich, I’d gladly eat here everyday. I highly recommend people to try this place out. I’m sure, you won’t be disappointed.
Everyone was very friendly, and the chef, whom I’m assuming is the owner, came out and talked to us. She explained to us how she cooked the Smokey Party Jollof Rice because it was so tasty. Food was absolutely delicious! Definitely going back and taking some friends next time!
