My fiancée and I had a great experience here! The portions were very generous and all the food we ordered was outstanding. We are looking forward to trying some of the other dishes before we leave SA. A special thanks to our server Randy who just recently started, but was very professional and made us feel so welcome! We will definitely be back to try more.

Everything at Umberto's is top notch. The service is great with very attentive wait staff . I had stuffed pasta shells. My shells were stuffed with delicious shrimp and 3 cheeses. Im sorry I can't recall the cheese thst were used. Most likely ricotta, Mozarella and Parmesan. It was very good! My date had a sirloin steak with baked potato and Italian Eedding Soup. Really enjoyed it and said that the steak was perfect. He asked for medium and when I saw him cut into it , it did look perfect
I do plan to go back, but i'm going to go back hungry. I it took a lot of my food home with me. The portions are generous. As far as prices go I believe that the price is fair . They also have wine and beer.I think I'll consider this place for supper next time.

Absolutely love this hidden little gem!! My favorite Italian place in all of SA - yes, I even rate above Paesano's! The Shrimp Umberto plate is their version, and it's amazing! I tried the Shrimp Scampi and the amount of food (SHRIMP!) you get for the price, can't be beat! My little one loves the pizza. My older one loves the lasagna. We haven't had a bad dish yet!

Picked up takeout last night for dinner. I ended up with a veggie pizza with raw dough. Pizza was inedible. Pasta was ok.

Dessert was packed in the to-go bag upside down, causing a mess.

Complete waste of money and time.

Overall very good experience. Staff was attentive and food came out quick. The shrimp appetizer was great (perhaps a bit too much butter). The chicken griglia was massive and I knew I would need a box. The rolls they brought out had just enough garlic and butter. Only wish is they would serve the Shiraz just a bit chilled/cellar temperature.
