I'm deeply grateful to Juanita Sepulveda (VFW 9186 Manager) and Cami & Senovio for their exceptional efforts in making our 1974 McCollum High School 50th Reunion so very special. Our food was catered in by 4 Missions cafe. Everything ran so smoothly without a glitch. Every last minute request (and we had a few) were honored and taken care of promptly and professionally. Ms. Sepulveda, a Marine veteran, went over and above to fulfill all our requests (Semper Fidelis) 🇺🇸💪🙏
If you can rent the Canteen like we did (100 people) it is a perfect and intimate setting. The bartenders were quick and efficient. We had a DJ and a Photo Booth and there was still plenty of room to dance and visit. If I ever need another place for a party we will definitely call on them again (I just hope they aren't already reserved) they are very popular, make sure and plan well in advance.

Attended a Halloween dance for the San Antonio Missions Altar Society. It was a lot of fun. Security was very noticeable.

The cashier was rude as was the woman we were told was in charge.
The hall was hot, many people asked for more air, be it fans or simply turning on the a/c. Our requests went unheard.
Won't be going back, but they should consider their elderly patrons

We had my Daughters 18th bday/ enlisting to the Navy party here in the canteen it's a good size venue that hold about 200 guest... But very disappointed in how my guest where treated from the start Profile my guest just cuz they had tattoos would walk to there cars going in and out the venue making Assumptions my girls smoking in the restroom cuz someone was Vaping in there and smelled like weed so just cuz a group of girl walk in the restroom it was them NO that's not the case it was just bad didn't even injoy myself felt like being watch all the time I was there and my guest never had I felt like this. NEVER will I rent here again but I got to say the 2 ladys bartender where great to us So before you decided to rent just do a little review on the staff and read the contract... thanks

Family rented venue for a graduation party but was harassed the whole time. Juanita decided to profile almost everyone there and accuse them of drinking outside and smoking marijuana in restrooms. She also threatened to have me removed as a member of the local VFW. If this is how members are treated I don’t want to be apart of this local post. So when my dues stop and fellow veterans lose precious resources thank Juanita.

Very spacious place with a huge dance floor. Super friendly staff. Post Commander was very welcoming and informative about the events they sponsor. Plenty of good parking. Food and drink on sale.

I came over here for the police seized property auction. I thought it was roomy enough for the event. Too bad the stuff was going for too much. I didn't get to try any food or anything but I saw a lot of people ordering food and drinks. Over all it was nice.
