Food was ok. My wife really liked her burger. The fish sandwich was ok. Fries were a bit limp and very seasoned. Biggest complaint is there is a hefty fee to use a credit card. It was not a percentage but a fixed $3.25. That would have been 10% on our bill. Good thing my wife saw the small print on the menu! We had to base our selections on how much cash we could scrape together.

Waxy O’Connor’s is my new must-stop in San Antonio!! Our server Landon was awesome! I’ve been service industry for a long time and he was the best server I’ve had in years. The bartender, Anthony, was also exceptional. The service is impeccable, the drinks and atmosphere are immaculate, and the crowd was friendly and inclusive. Service was great. Our server was very personable and friendly. She was also very knowledgeable about the surrounding area. I didn't catch her name but she was outstanding and was working the outdoor seating area on Sunday 11/9. I got the bourbon blackberry cocktail and it was amazing.
