I always visit Waxy’s when I we have our annual stay on the Riverwalk. We always sit at the bar and we always have great service. The food is good and the dessert is delicious. Last night I had the Irish Coffee (frozen) and I am hooked will be back again tonight to have another one. You should definitely head in there and have a drink or two…. Oh and some food.
Full size Guinness glasses. Want to mention this up front. Was at another Irish pub in SA and quickly realized their glassware was only a 12oz baby pint. Sat at the bar and received fast and friendly service.
Me: do you have a cocktail menu?
Waiter: uhhh this a bar?
Me: I know? But I saw the cocktail menu outside and I didn’t memorize it.

Yes they have a cocktail menu but it’s weird that you have to do this little song and dance to get it
