Wayne’s wings could possibly be the best wings in the world. No exaggeration. The portions are large enough that a 6 piece is large enough for most adult men. The staff is always polite, and always busy. Wayne’s has traffic that hardly ever slows. Finally, the food, especially the wings have an incomparable delicious flavor. A lot of people say that if they ever moved away from Texas that they would miss HEB terribly. For anyone who has been to Wayne’s Wings, you would easily rank Wayne’s as high or higher than HEB. Wayne’s is perfect deliciousness broken down into molecular form and partnered with their food so amazingly that once your taste buds experience it, you realize there is no where else in the world where they do it as perfectly as Wayne’s. Add it to your bucket list, make it your last meal request, eat and enjoy it as often as you can.

Very disappointing experience. My fiancé and I stopped by while traveling for the weekend, excited to try Wayne’s Wings based on the hype. Unfortunately, we never got to find out how the food tastes.
We waited nearly 40 minutes for our order and experienced poor customer service throughout the wait. There was no communication, no acknowledgment of the delay, and no apology offered at any point.
What made the experience more frustrating was the price—$42 for the Lovebirds combo (12 wings, one large fry, and two drinks). At that cost, basic courtesy and professionalism should be expected.
Overall, this was a very unpleasant experience, and I would not recommend it based on service alone.

I walk in on Saturday at 1055 when it says open at 1030 on Saturdays. I was turned down and said they don't open till 11am. I was trying to get some wings for a company meeting I had going. I appreciate them coming out to my car to try and get me back in but it put a bad taste in my mouth. Especially when I'm walking with a prosthetic to get in and out of my car is a hassle.

Welcoming staff. Honestly haven't had wings this good in a long time. The chicken is cooked perfectly and seasoned well. I will definitely be coming back for more wings and to try to Philly cheesesteak which I was excited and surprised to see on the menu being from the Northeast.

So I heard that this place had the best wings in Texas and since I’m visiting San Antonio, I was excited to try. Well maybe it was an off day for them but they just really aren’t good to me. For one, I clearly asked for bone-in wings and I got boneless. I also ordered the Philly fries, and honestly, all the food lacks flavor. While they were a little busy, the food took much longer than I appreciated. The blue cheese dip is also not good. Overall, I’m disappointed with my experience. Maybe it’s because I got my food to go, but I don’t know. I don’t think I would try again. No hate to the restaurant, business was clearing booming and the atmosphere was nice, just really not for me.

1st time here… Overall it was okay! Based on the Tic Tok reviews and post I was disappointed! Honey B was tasty, but wings had too much breading. Lemon Pepper Rub was just Not good! Best part of meal were the Wedges! Cashier needed more enthusiasm.. we told her it was our first time and she really didn’t care or suggest any of the foods. Philly Steak sandwich was okay.. a bit greasy! Sorry Wayne’s Wings… not my cup of tea! Customers did seem pretty happy in there.. I was hoping it was better. Pricey for the level of food we thought. 😞
